  1. well - your crystal ball is working just fine
  2. going to Mars with taxpayers money, not a waste, but I would of prioritise medical research over space exploration, some types of cancer always kill
  3. When Musk's robot arm comes online it will make a sticky mess inside the server cases
  4. Greta and Trump have something in common and they both only have one t
  5. thrown to the wolves how the Times put it, remember Trump knows nothing about fighting, having his family money meant an expensive doctor could get him signed off from Vietnam with a 'bone spur', this genuine reason to avoid conscription must have got better with age, as it's not stopped him doing many miles on the golf course.
  6. not exactly the same, but was talking with greygit on here a while ago about using vehicle mounted winches and anchoring the vehicle to a tree to stop it being pulled forward, he said you have to be very careful not to twist the chassis, and to take the rope/ wire under the wheels to the winch
  7. so if the £20 billion proposed is £3000 per UK resident and several times that £20 billion have already been spent on Ukraine and they are still retreating in the east, then we have no hope of fighting a war, only of putting down a civil war. If they gave me the purse strings I would say enough already and tell Russia China, India and US that we are very afraid of being defeated by a bigger concern in the future, so we are putting the country up for auction - if you can't beat them join them. If we fell out with any of the above countries, or even Germany, there is no way we are winning alone. Regarding hypersonic nuclear funding - I'd rather learn to speak american, hindi, mandarin or russian than push a nuclear posturing to its logical conclusion
  8. I briefly joined facebook years ago, just so I could get an Iveco Daily from Marketplace, I recommend the 3.0 35C Ivecos. Apparently there is a Treebay group on Facebook with chippers etc also. Ebay has them too, but you need to have an aptitude for second hand machinery sales, or you will end up with something that needs thousands spending on it. I saw something on here the other day Bart chipper doctor and on his website he offers to go and look at used chippers for £250 plus mileage before you buy, if you see a machine for say£8k -£10k, spending £300 to get an engineers report may be worth it google Arblease if looking at the monthly payments on a new chipper., not cheap rates at all
  9. Dresden could have been another Hiroshima, but for a few months. If the film Oppenheimer is close to the facts they more or dropped the two bombs immediately after the first succesfull test, those bombs could have saved millions of lives, by killing a few hundred thousand Germans, if only we could have had the nukes ready by 1942. President Trump knows China are getting near nuclear parity and so my guess is Trump may not make the 'mistake' (Chinese term for supporting Taiwan) Will they take Taiwan during Trumps presidency?
  10. If your asking me that because you genuinely don't know - both sides lay claim to Temple Mount, those critters have been scrapping and shitting out there for thousands of years
  11. that hasn't stopped Israel killing those enemies not in uniform in gaza - the breeding machines in plain clothes - enemy number one, storing up trouble for the future. Anyway lets accept that your point of view is more valid than mine, now I can go and get thrashed again by the bots on Chess.com
  12. I hadn't seen that no. But what I'm asking you is to imagine how you'd feel if you were a Hamas fighter - so you think the US and Israel are trying to steal your homeland, but you know you can't possibly overcome their far superior military. It's like the people living in the Amazon rainforest, they probably get their wives by wacking them on the back of the head with a club and dragging them off in the bushes for a bit of intimate pleasure, but that heinous act doesn't make it right for armed Brazilians to go in there and clear the land they have been living on for thousands of years, just because the newcomers to the forest have superior weapons.
  13. why does it have to be either? If it's total war anything is fair game
  14. that is your opinion - you are not alone in thinking this! Before the cease fire there was a story of a Palestinian woman who went into labour and needed a caesarian section - they had to cut her open and stitch her up without anaesthetic, because the Israeli terrorists had stopped aid entering the enclave.
  15. I know my views arise from incomplete understanding, but when the whites first colonised SA they took huge swathes of land away from the blacks, in a similar fashion the Israelis are pushing Arabs out of the West Bank and trying to make Gaza uninhabitable too. No doubt the blacks who tried to prevent the Afrikaners taking their land were called terrorists too. Imagine how it was for the blacks back then - with newly arrived whites pushing them out of their ancestral homelands. They were unable to dominate the armed whites, just as the Palestinians cant fight the might of US supplied bombs
  16. yes my thoughts arent hard to guess, Ireland, South Africa. But now in the UK the new colonists are subjecting us to apartheid, if the mosque builders become the majority they will confiscate loads of land. I predict unimaginable suffering across the globe forever. Still, suffering is better than no life at all
  17. Yes Hamas realise they are outgunned - a bit like all of Europe was outgunned when Germany started on through in 1939. Hamas are portrayed negatively for terrorism in Western media, but imagine yourself in their position - to my mind Hamas are in a position similar to the native american indians in the 1800's - the indians hated being pushed off their land, but were totally outgunned. Make the white man fight hand to hand to make it a fair fight
  18. one way to try to make a portawrap suffice in the absence of a bollard
  19. he asked for 441c, doubt that would fit
  20. yes I do - but you can't have it as it's staying on my saw it's only £130 on back order, think of how much wood you can cut for such a small outlay, although it is a bit annoying that a Chinese copy can be had for around £50 for the older 044 here is a thread with a teardown of MS441C , apparently fuel tank takes some doing to get off https://opeforum.com/threads/a-dummy-and-the-stihl-ms441c.25651/page-4
  21. the european settlers moved native americans out the way, now one of the settlers descendents wants to clear some arabs off a piece of land. Trump doesnt like it when its not the whites doing the land clearing - threatening to stop funding South Africa. The whites knew how to dominate by force during apartheid. In a fair world the Africans and Arabs could join forces, take the fight to Trump and invade Mar a Lago, level the site and grow crops. But this isnt a fair world - its the natural world
  22. The U.S. contributes about one-sixth of NATO’s annual budget, not two-thirds, as claimed in social media posts. Washington finances 15.8% of the military alliance’s yearly expenditure of around $3.5 billion. It’s the joint largest share, alongside Germany’s, according to a NATO breakdown for 2024
  23. The Wall St Journal are not impressed with Trumps latest decisions The Dumbest Trade War in History Trump will impose 25% tariffs on Canada and Mexico for no good reason. President Trump will fire his first tariff salvo on Saturday against those notorious American adversaries . . . Mexico and Canada. They’ll get hit with a 25% border tax, while China, a real adversary, will endure 10%. This reminds us of the old Bernard Lewis joke that it’s risky to be America’s enemy but it can be fatal to be its friend. Leaving China aside, Mr. Trump’s justification for this economic assault on the neighbors makes no sense. White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt says they’ve “enabled illegal drugs to pour into America.” But drugs have flowed into the U.S. for decades, and will continue to do so as long as Americans keep using them. Neither country can stop it.
