  3. Recently had our TD5 Discovery 2 Remapped by Twisted Performance. Goes a lot nicer now, much mower power and torque, and another 5mpg! Doing 35mpg, mainly short runs!
  4. I love my Fourtraks, Am on my 3rd one, (6th in the family!) They are prone to rot, Sills and rear arches. Lift the boot carpet and have a look at the floor and arches. Also the chassis is prone to rot on the Indys, check the crossmember where the rear axle top mounts go, these break away from the chassis rails, and are repaired by crow poo welding and bits of tube hammered into them......
  5. I've had that on a very steep wet tarmac hill with a Defender 90 TDCI and 3.5T of digger and trailer on the hitch. Front wheels start to spin. Whole rig stops and then the trailer drags you back down with your front wheels locked. My fault for not stopping at the bottom and engaging low range and difflock. It went straight up after that.
  6. Another vote here for Kumho KL71's Cheap, not the longest lasting but amazing grip on and offroad. Superb in the snow too.
  7. I have just bought a £445 eBay tractor mounted splitter. Not got the neatest welding, claims 10 ton of pressure. We've been trying hard all week to break it and have failed, We're very pleased with it, the old Leyland 344 running at 1200rpm is well upto the task and good on fuel.
