  7. Cheers guys, from start to varnishing stage took me about an hour & a half Heres a few pics of the process..
  8. Thought I'd use up those scraps of wood normally discarded & started carving some Mini mushrooms about 3" to 4" tall. They're carved from a solid piece of pine using a Dremel with shank burr, sanded & finished in a clear varnish.

  13. Kim, have you tried processing your pictures through a Jpeg compressor?? This will optimize your photos so that the file size is dramatically reduced, without skimping on image quality & will ensure a quicker loading speed on your website.
  14. As far as I can tell the other guys have pretty much nailed it pointing out the Inconsistencies of fonts /font sizes throughout plus some of the pages taking longer to load but all in all a nice site/ layout & user friendly

Hey all , hope I'm not posting in the wrong section I'm looking for a bit of help & fingers crossed theres someone out there that might know of someone in the Beds/Herts/Bucks region that can hook me up with some wood to carve? I'd be more than willing to collect (as long as it fits in the lanny) but if they can drop it off I'd be very appreciative Many thanks in advance Gee

  24. Truley awesome work :thumbup: Just received the story & rest of the pics by e-mail..... This man takes wood chips, soaks them in water for many days. He uses a tree from Russia (Red Cedar). Then he starts building his pieces which take him about 6 months, 10 hours a day to finish it. He was offered a lot of money for one piece but won't sell one. Heres the rest of the pictures....... Enjoy!
