  1. I think properly managed wood is sustainable but heathland clear fells have to stop and be planted rather than left small scale forestry needs to make a comeback to manage the many areas that are left people need educating as to how much wood they use even if they don't have a fire and the forestry commission need to completely change there policy's then we will have a start of reversing the damage that has been done however it will take a quite a few years to get back on track but I don't think it's to late we will never produce enough as imports are already massive but there will still be an industry
  2. I had exactly the same with mini digger I tried to buy eBay is full of scams at the moment
  3. Is the brake band working they will leak oil to a certain degree but if the brake band isn't working it won't stop equally if the brake band is working it will be knackered if clutch not stopping
  4. I have a palax that does that its because the spool valve hasnt triped properly to split i know its different machines but if the spool isnt pushing across fully it wont split properly maybe needs adjusting or the needs a clean out of the mechinism just a sugestion
  5. We had one years ago and that's what we did but you have to be carefully there's a lot of movement in the linkages and can sometimes flop forward and hit the cab when you swing round but we done well with ours was quite good then
  6. I tried several types of boxes and knives etc massive force needed or very expensive hollow ground knives I ended up with a kindler too so much easier

  9. You can drop onto the pavement etc easier if nearside,, and yes to earlier 4 bolts is barely enough I think I drilled and put a couple extra in mine as the base plate did bend a little strong now tho, I replaced the straight bar on the swing lift with a hydraulic ram and electric tipper pump much more flexible half ton swing lift is barely high enough to lift 1 metre bags
  10. Mines on the back corner of my trailer works really well
  11. Yea it's just a 25l oil drum the square ones 20l will do it but 25 is fills the nets just about full it works very well especially with the handle left on
  12. My net sacks fit exactly over a square 25l drum cut the bottom out fill with logs put the net over turn upside down grab the handle and pull drum out perfect every time easy to make and can have as many as you want I have 10 made up one person filling one person netting can do loads in a day
