  9. we had a family travelled from Ireland attend training with us this week doing the new version of CS38/39. They departed today for the ferry and stopped by the Yorkshire Show to kill some time. Their Landrover Crewcab, including box trailer with roof mountent tent, climbing kits, was stolen from the show ground car park this evening. Very distinctive vehicle and trailer, both in dark green. I think the vehicle is on 02 Limerick plate. On the off chance anyone spots it, the family would be extremely grateful for any info. Thanks. Jonny 07795 840428 [email protected]

Whilst he's delivering mentoring in Yorkshire, he told me it's a nationwide scheme.

  24. We are very pleased to announce that we have received confirmation from the MOD that we are now approved to deliver UA1, 2, 3, 4 & 5 through the scheme. We are able to offer UA qualifications as a package of training to allow candidates to make best use of their available funding, and provide them with increased opportunities for employment in the utility arboriculture industry. Service leavers can start their resettlement process two years before their leaving date. If they are still in service, candidates may have 20+ days paid resettlement time to attend training plus have their travel and accommodation paid for by the MOD. The scheme allows for funding ‘credits’ to be accessed up to 10 years after leaving service. We hope our package of courses will prove valuable to employers seeking to recruit military service leavers. In addition the package options will be of benefit to ex military personnel who are already employed within arboriculture industry, and still have access to their funding credits. Package options include: • UA1 – 5 Groundsman/Surveyor Option (CS30 & 31 pre-requisites not included) UA1, UA2.1, 2.2 (includes Lantra Tree Survey), UA3, UA4 & UA5 Duration = 14 days • UA1 – 5 Arborist/Surveyor Option (CS30, 31, 38, 39 and 40 pre-requisites not included) UA1, UA2.1, 2.2, 2.3 (includes Lantra Tree Survey), UA3, UA4 & UA5 Duration = 14 days • UA1 & 5 Surveyor Only Option UA1, UA2.1 (includes Lantra Tree Survey), UA3, UA4 & UA5 (includes Lantra Avoidance of Underground Services & Overhead Lines) Duration = 13 days More information will shortly be available on our website TKF Chainsaw Training Courses, Tree Surgery, Pesticide Training, ELCAS Business Management Courses, throughout Yorkshire, UK and Ireland Alternatively if you have any queries on course options and/or cost, please contact Jonny Ripley at the TKF office on 01484 685114 or [email protected] Our candidates are often seeking work experience and employment.
