  1. That sounds reasonable, I've got a long garden with an allotment type area at bottom so happy to compost chip there
  2. Burning would be an ideal solution but I think I'd create too much smoke and don't want to get complaints from my neighbours.
  3. Thanks for your reply - yes it stacked like a bears arse! Should have thought about that but of course I didn't. Would a hire machine cope with it? Anything larger than about 2" I've logged up for my burner, what should I look for in a hire machine.? Brand etc?
  4. Hi anyone give me a ball park figure of what it would cost to chip a leylandii and Laurel hedge that I've just cut down , to give you an idea of size it was about 12 feet high and 10 feet wide total 40 feet long. I'm in hinckley leicestershire - if anyone's local maybe they could quote for the job - just trying to weigh up if it's cheaper to chip or cart it to the tip in a hired pick up
  5. Can't take chip but if your ever in the area I can take other burnable arb waste I.e not brash for an industrial log boiler, it's about 6 miles from sapcote
  6. Business application have been delayed today, expect to be able to apply end of November now, they are reducing the rate for large boilers
  7. Hi, can you mail pictures, where are they and what do you want for them?

    [email protected]

  8. Do you know what your 1.2m crate is in terms of weight? Do you offer hardwood as well?
  9. Used to do bill maynards (the gaffer, heartbeat, carry films) garden on a regular basis when I was young, lovely chap.
  10. The installation can be certified as accredited retrospectively but payment will not be back dated... RHI for business and multiple home installation begins this year, they expect to be able to accept applications at the end of September
  11. Yes it should move through the plant and kill any suckers. In practice this depends on strength, leaf area and timing
  12. Keep posted, they look perfect could do with some of those
  13. Totally agree! Feel ashamed to be British, where is the respect and where are the parents....
  14. Wow, that looks the dogs... Can I ask how much the system cost you?
  15. Clever idea, will keep my eyes open for a tyre on my travels!
  16. ]Hi, thanks for your reply, someone sugested hardwood billets could you do these? How big a load could you deliver? Could you quote? Think we are quite close, we are on the a447 between Hinckley and ibstock
  17. And don't buy a really cheap one, I did and it's pants, stabbed it into the back of my kitchen unit door (birch) and it reads 40%!
  18. Thanks for your replies, as regards size we are only limited to logs that are able to be handled manualy safely. We don't won't to have to load the boiler by forklift so as long as each log can be lifted by one person then that's good, they don't all have to be split either just nice and dry!
  19. Will be in the Market for arctic loads of logs delivered to Leicestershire in august onwards, can anyone quote on good quality dry logs, nothing too small as are to be used in very large industrial batch fed log burner, need large logs pref hardwood. Plenty of space to tip and go
