  11. I know she uses a lanyard of some sort and also though about securing a magnet to keep it in the scabbard aswell as opening it up a bit
  12. Ok great. Thank you. Any problems you lads have come across? Reason why im asking is a ozzy comp climber lass is wanting a silky etc solely for comps. And im guessing its lights out their way atm
  13. Ok so the teeth could be removed then. I was going to use a Gom to base this on so 👍 also can the scabbard be modded ? For example a slice removed from the side wall for quick removal. Im also going to do a trial with magnets
  14. Had one for almost a year no problems til 2 weeks ago where the oiler isnt working properly? Flushed it etc and work a little when back to it old self? Need to find out if the person i bought it from registered it with stihl.👎 which i doubt it lol
  15. Hi lads and lasses, So for those of you that take part in comp climbs what do you ask of your silky. Are there requirements that have to be met? If you could adapt the silky what would you do? Have you lost time because of a particular problem using a standard silky ? Any real feed back would be grateful Thanks Dan

  20. Ok so for the last couple of nights ive been working on this logo/sign from a slab of cherry. If you guys dont know Adam runs a clothing range out in Australia called ' The Climber Cartel' Had to wait till i got permission to post some pics. So here it is. Around 27" long and from8.5"-12 width
  21. I use these for both tree work and woodworking bud. If there is ever any steam its gone in a sec or two as theres vents in the top band. Also comfy and comes in 3 coloured lenses
