  1. A combination of Greek words coined by two Aussie Scientists in 1964. Quite interesting.. according to Wiki
  2. Ooops Googled it and learnt something. Thank you.
  3. Good Morning Overnight rain and now its bloody lovely out there. More cut split stack Have a great one.
  4. Thanks both @scbk and @GarethM I hadn't considered the leave be approach. I routinely change engine oil and thought there might be a sell-by on the hydraulic. Many thanks.
  5. I have a petrol powered 12T splitter. I really ought to change the oil but the brief instructions don't offer any spec. My local Ag dealer has only one type at the moment HLP46 Will this do? Or is there another spec / grade I should look for? Cheers in advance.
  6. Good Morning Glorious out there. Lots to do. Great! Play up Pompey!
  7. Great start....stuck in traffic behind a train on the M25
  8. Morning All Got to get better Doug, the weekend is nearly here. Can't wait. Load of Oak to split. Moped bits are here from Holland so maybe get that running. Then Monday will be here and another week of Shepherd Bush....20mph or gridlock. Joy. Have a smashing day.
  9. Morning Be glad for the weekend. Have a good one.
  10. Good Morning Long day ahead.. Have a good one.
  11. Good Morning Spent the day stacking then making loads of kindling and couldn't help thinking much the same. First real sunburn of the year in April. Hoping to finish Henley then 2 days in Swindon....overnight ...beers. Then who knows. Crystal Palace or Shepherd Bush. Both don't make the top 10. Be good and enjoy it while it's here.
  12. Good Morning Lovely day. Load of Oak to split and stack. Joy! Have a good one.
  13. Good Morning Hoping for a lovely weekend. Have a safe one.
  14. Finally. They're back again. Our friends from overseas returned as a pair yesterday. Always a happy day when the barn swallows return. Pics to follow when they settle down and get a bit slower.
  15. Good Morning Battle on the M25 continues. What what Have a good one.
  16. Wednesday already!! Survived April Fools, I think. Have a grand one.
  17. I have sold barrow bags. 50cm x 50cm x 90cm .22m3 220litres - twice the size Useful for a couple of regular customers with limited access. Also 45 x 70 nets for similar reasons. Easy to transport and stack. Those smaller bags, I don't see the point. If you tip them out it'll be messy ( use cheaper nets). If you leave them it'll be costly. Barrow bags are about £4 but I get them back eventually and refill multiple times.
  18. Good Morning Looks a bit cloudier. Back to battle M25/M4 Have a splendid one, what what
  19. Been using Gator for ages. First off eBay then direct. Yes, it'll get a bit claggy in the cold, but so do I. Used about 100l on ground saw and on the milling saws. It does what it says and sticks to the 46" bar like it should. Hits my quality / price button dead on.
  20. As above...birds giving ze beanz Have a good one. Henley, what what!
  21. Good Morning Well done Pompey. I have to say I like the clock change. Getting up early in daylight (in a few days time) and a longer lighter evening makes for plenty of potter-time. Don't start me on wiring colours @Stubby Mains I get but the LV AC/DC stuff I play with having 20 or 50 pairs of identical coloured wires would be a nightmare. I'd never finish anything in any semblance of time. Enjoy the day regardless, the winter days and lack of light make me worse and worse each year. I'm going to be out there till I get told to come in for my dinner. #Summertimerantover
  22. Good Morning Lovely day for Pottering @Doug Tait Play up Pompey!
  23. Good Morning Friday. ll done. No Henley yet...Nuttfield. Closest job for ages. Enjoy and be safe.
  24. Good Morning Nearly there. Finish Reading and onwards to Henley. What , what! Have a spiffing day.
  25. Happy Wednesday. Last day of Reading then Henley. Wish they still did Tiger Tokens I'd be on my way to a dozen Crystal Wine Glasses already. Have a smasher.
