  1. Morning Funny night. Next doors Calf loose (again) last night. Put away safely Visit from fox at 4:30 Went back and fell asleep. Nice one Stubby. Good on you! Happy Hols Pete. Be safe/well/enjoy.
  2. It's a trading game. You want to feel like you have value for money and the GC would like the same. I have sold a pickup heaped load (delivered within 6 mile or so) of uncut firewood for anything between £25 and £40 dependant on the wood. Earlier shout of £30 seems fair. As long as both parties are happy and so the e relationship continues, so that more loads are available.
  3. Good Morning De-stress Pete. Mrs is counting the days till our trip away. It's been a quirky year to be sure. Hoping this is the last day IN Landon. Next week will be M25 and outwards...fingers crossed. Have a great and relaxing long weekend.
  4. Morning Early away yesterday to collect a trailer load of ash. Then a lovely lunch with wife and good fiends. Back to it now...woken early by Mr Fox chasing chickens. Scared him off and now back to Hammersmith. Can't wait for the weekend. Cover up and stay cool.
  5. Mike Peters from the Alarm. My little sis thought they were ace and saw them in the very early 80's before U2 out pipped them in the popularity stakes. Never realised he had blood cancer and was awarded MBE for services. RIP
  6. Good Morning Another hammering in Hammersmith. Looking forward to day off tomorrow to collect a large ash. Mill-able I hope. Or Firewood at the worst. Too late for "Air, Ton, Nick." - It's a fast cake.....Scone! Enjoy the day.
  7. Good Morning London Tour continues...Hammersmith in the sun has to better than the rain. Keep covered.
  8. Good Morning Lay in. Long day splitting logs for a mate. Then the neighbours 14yo sons had party that wrapped up at 23:20. Wouldn't mind but the music was cr@p and just sounded like the same song on repeat. Must be getting old. #grumpyoldmanrantover Have a splendid one. Looks bloody lovey out. p.s. Well done Eagles

  22. Thanks both @scbk and @GarethM I hadn't considered the leave be approach. I routinely change engine oil and thought there might be a sell-by on the hydraulic. Many thanks.
  23. I have a petrol powered 12T splitter. I really ought to change the oil but the brief instructions don't offer any spec. My local Ag dealer has only one type at the moment HLP46 Will this do? Or is there another spec / grade I should look for? Cheers in advance.
