Some people truly can't see it until it is pointed out. Good clue though.

Keep looking. When you see it you can't unsee it. It's a good example of the fact that our brains form a guess of what they assume is there rather than giving us a true representation of what is actually there.

I hope you're correct Marcus. I'm almost as afraid of the far left as I am the far right. It would really help a lot if we could really listen and take on board what we are actually saying to one another. This habit of expressing people's views for them and putting them in a purely left or right box is a real road to nowhere. I realise it makes for fun reading, but it it so flipin' frustrating.

I don't think you understand what atheism is Ti, or rather what it isn't. I would never argue that a spiritual component to human existence is bad. I think quite the opposite. Spirituality does not have to be religious. I can't seem to be able to get my points across without them being ignored, twisted or just completely fabricated so I will retire gracefully to my den of vice and fiery damnation.

This has to be viewed in the context of total world population at the time. Previous centuries have been far more bloody when you consider the proportion of the world's population killed in any given century. We have been over this a mind numbing number of times already.
