  1. do you know yet if you reckon you will need that mower as ben said he has someone else who may be interested in it if you dont want it

  2. atvs will go most places you will ever want to go,you can either use a trailer such as the logic stt400 which has floatation tyres and will carry up to1/3 ton or you can make a timber skidder so you can lift one end and drag the other most ATV's of around 450/500 cc will pull this ok
  3. yes forgot that under the wildlife and countryside act it is illegal to release non native species in the U K but you see it on the tv all the time when so called experts release muntjac that have been caught in railings in a different area last sumer i shot a fox with three legs and no canines that a do gooder had taken to the vets then released in the middle of a pheasant shoot
  4. if they are in the bedroom then set a live catch trap ,catch squirrel then tell them it will be released in another area, then once away from the area you can kill it humanely.
  5. there is now a product called Traakit which can be swapped from machine to machine ,if you are leaving a machine overnight you can lock it down in a 100mtr square if the object moves it will send a warning alert via e-mail or text you can also have a trail show on your phone or laptop showing where it is going, lone workers can also be tracked bythe fact you can see where they are so at least you know where to look if they dont report in.
  6. yes either gearbox or drive belt requires a bit of dismantling of the underside not bad when you have done it a few times lol
  7. hondas just get on with it ,no fuss ,starts easily does what it says on the tin,not the cheapest but is reliable cheapest mechanic you will ever get is a can of oil change that everything else will take care of itself
  8. your brochures are with james at the plant centre,i will be having alook at a john deere mower 2moro that may be coming in as a trade in

  9. most woods i go through in the shooting season are very poorly maintained with dead wood and fallen trees all over the place, the canopy gets to thick and cuts out the light so the woods end up cold ,if you clear some areas the undergrowth soon comes back but then, the deer comme in and eat everything ,most large estates now dont have a forestry dept so the woods have been left to fend for themselves most keepers have a window of a couple of months when the shooting has finished and the would be glad of some work being done as they need the undergrowth not the canopy, some may let you have the wood in exchange of the work
  10. hi depends where you are there are always people willing to control deer, deer and rabbits get used to everything else ,let them meet mr sako and mr winchester
  11. we use a l200 for work if the fuel level drops to low the filter sucks in to much muck ,this is common if you use supermarket fuel instead of decent quality stuff, last time it did it to me was fast lane on a11,just overtaken an artic it died wiv car up me butt, went from 70 to limp mode in 5yards it does this about every 10,000 miles
  12. landy 110excess 170 fully comp at 40 yrs old
  13. series landys will be cheapest to insure ,if you can find a decent one,if it is old enough it could also be tax exempt,if you can go that route then it wont matter if it costs you a bit more to insure as you aint paying the tax .adrian flux or whyman & girling nfu agents are pretty cheap hope this helps.
