  1. we had a 16 year old lad from college on work experience and we gave him some crappy hard jobs to do hauling cables up hills, peeling stumps, chipping, chipping and more chipping etc etc , and he came back so we got him climbing, cutting etc then he came to work with us after college and i'm telling you that lad was a worker! he proved his worth wasn't put off by the crappy end of the job and in return we gave him the help and encouragement he needed he's since been out in NZ climbing and now back home still working with trees, top lad young un! on the other hand we had another young lad on work experience who was one of the laziest sods I've ever encountered! If they're willing to work give em the start they need! always good to see someone not afraid to get their hands dirty and do what has to be done even if it is crap!

  3. think it's pretty much sorted out now I've got A through C+E and has been fine last few times, but you could always Tell em you lost the original then you have old un as proof! you know when it turns up!

  5. i'd guess the handle is to change from a D type to proper brushcutter handlebars
  6. kumho kl71's great tyres some have said they don't last but our 110 has had a set on for four years now and still got loads of life left and it's towing on the road regularly
  7. a guy who was a bike mechanic for the cops for 25 years and had his licence checked every 6 months lost his entitlement when he changed address and the dvla refused to sort it said he never had it ever!! had to re-sit his test! mind you his 'test' consisted of a cuppa and a blether with the examiner who knew him well
  8. used to be you needed a bike licence for a trike then they changed it to a car licence now they've changed it back but if you passed your test when car licence was required you still have the entitlement to ride a trike
  9. when I was doing my driving stint there one of the other drivers had my 7.5t out and returned with 6 ton in the back!! it was sat on the axle and the tyres did not look happy! nowt new with that crowd though!
  10. ass-pen dries up rubber components in the fuel system causing leaks too if previously run on petrol
  11. ah after what seems like a lifetime i'm back in the woods been wagon driving for the last nine months to get by but now im back at it and damn glad to be!!!!

  13. was originally a CSW , like I said certainly doesn't need any help in the suspension dept.
  14. that things pretty stiff in the rear should see the springs on it! it's always been slow in coming down even with weight in must just have a restrictive fitting somewhere

  16. it has been totally rebuilt by previous owner 200tdi fitted, poly bushes etc, etc, i'll say this he payed more than that for it!
  17. drove mine 300 miles home.... wish it had a radio
  18. yeah previous owner rebuilt it on a galvy chassis, you should see the springs in the back! even with a full load it sits fine, long drive to Cornwall though
  19. saw a 90 tipper on ebay a while back bit small but I kinda liked it , what about this guys 88"!
