  1. Who uses these and on what helmet? Thanks. Sena Dual SMH10 Headset
  2. For those that have used both, is Cougar Blue much better than Kernmantle? Is it just the larger diameter that makes it nicer to use? Thanks
  3. He's right. I had a Transit, then a Unimog, now another Transit. Transit is totally useless as a chip truck. I should have got a short lorry instead.
  4. Crikey, if I can't get the good Armor Pruss for my Poison HiVee, I'll have to buy a Rope Runner!
  5. That's the stuff Mark. Useless stuff!
  6. Has anyone used this Edelrid Powerstatic for SRWP? If so, which device do you use? Thanks. Access rope - Treeworker.co.uk
  7. I've bought it from honey Brothers in the past. Be careful though because I seem to remember two different types and one type was useless on my Poison HiVee.
  8. Why use the RW instead of the RR Ian?
  9. Breakfast: Cheerios with extra sugar. 1pint of Pepsi. 10:30 snack: Ginsters pasty and two cans of Redbull. Lunch: White bread & Nutella sandwiches. 3 bags of crisps. Giant Mars bar. 2 cans Monster energy. 3:30 snak: Mars bar and Redbull. Dinner: McDonalds. Bedtime drink: 2 pints of Stella and a Redbull chaser.
  10. The best solution to combat rising beer prices is to drink Vodka. I believe it doesn't matter how much a bottle costs, it's money well spent!
  11. Quite right Mick. I never buy any fuels from supermarkets. My advice for these wee chippers is to run them on Aspen 4.
  12. Erm, Atkinson Vos or AC Price. They're specialists in this so they won't hash it up.
  13. Is it preferable just because it's a nicer colour or am I missing something?
  14. Thanks Mark. I'll be talking to Nod then.
  15. Cougar Blue? It's not blue. Am I being stupid?
  16. What rope is that?
  17. No chance!
  18. Oh yeah. I'd forgotten about Yale blue tongue. Has anyone used both?
  19. I think the idea is that two ropes improve safety from a stability and therefore work position point of view.
  20. So I'm about to buy another rope, 50 or 60 metres. Is the general consensus still that Cougar Blue is the best 11.7mm for SRWP?
  21. That's a really good anchor. I like how it choke in both directions. Defo survive the flop test.
  22. You getting the 8" in the end James? Jon said you may opt for the 6" rather than wait.
  23. Hahaha!
  24. It's not rude Charles but I use long reach hedge cutters because I can reach twice as high as with a short one, therefore reducing the ladder work by 50%, in other words trimming the hedge twice as fast. The ELH reduces the fatigue level considerably (& reduces the vibration in the hands) therefore I can keep trimming and only stop to refuel.
