  9. Who are you guys working for out in melbourne? Im looking into getting sponsored by citywide, anyone g got ay experience of them ?? Ollie
  10. Agreed, Blue toungue works well I find the Imori's problem is its too floppy to self tend easily. I think you need something with a tighter braid like the velocity or blue tounge. (and some others, but i have no experience on any others)
  11. I use it with the spiderjack, and I will not be buying it again. Velocity is the way forward!
  12. I think I'd let her off just this once
  13. Could clip a trow bag onto the bottom part of the rope which is still hanging in the air to keep the weight on the rope should'nt need to when you've got some height. Try to keep the rope pulled directly into the spiderjack to help with self tailing, what spiderjackarry 3 on youtube for some good tips! Ollie
  14. I must be the only person who hates the petzl with a passion aha I found it never sits on my head right, feels really sloply aswell, I use the stein which I thinks great really comfotable and fits really well; although it can can hot which is an advantage with the petzl as said above the sweat band gets smelly, but you only have to wash it and the newer stein helmet uses a different material which i think is an improvement! all down to personal preference try to have a go with both if possible . Ollie
  15. thanks for the replys guys! ollie
  16. Been thinking... can you use a belay device (rock climbing) to decend on SRT? Ollie
  17. I would of said £120 minimum, but I haven't seen the job.
  18. youtube profile mate (in the most unstalkerish way) the velocity seems to tend really well through the spiderjack.
  19. Thanks Mate, your work climb vid was a deciding factor aha really enjoyed it.
  20. Thanks for info, velocity will be on the list for saturday! : )
  21. Might try a new one then, I've been thinking about changing to velocity for a while, are you on it?
  22. I know this topic has been covered again again! I apoligise now. but ive searched the site and can't find the answer im looking for. Basicly ive been using the spiderjack since christmas and can't fault it!! however Im using imori with it and just not getting on with it! it seems reluctant to self tend when theres little wieght on the rope as well as when there is weight! also im having problems with the cam not biting onto the rope, ive checked it's not worn. am I at fault or is it just the worng type of rope? I loved the imori when using the hitch climber but cant get on with it with the spiderjack? after seeing a vid of "atree" work climb useing velocity and how well that self tended could this be a better option? thanks in advance Ollie
