  1. This is just a selection of the laburnum I have in the yard Been cut two weeks unsealed end grain Been cut two months sealed end grain, stored under cover Been cut just over a year unsealed end grain, stored outside Been cut between 2.5 and 3 years, sealed end grain, stored under cover (there is more but I don't have lights in that barn)
  2. I have a reasonable amount of laburnum stored in the yard, but I think I'm a bit too far from you (gerrards cross, south bucks)
  3. I sold my 056av on ebay earlier this year, sold for £320! Average for this saw seems to be around the £250 mark
  4. Cut and split them
  5. She certainly shows up some of the lads I've had work over the years....
  6. Even had a go at climbing....
  7. Still works in the pub in the evenings, does 8 till 5 most days with me then she goes home for a wash and gets down the pub for 6 till close.... Makes a pleasant change to have someone who is genuinely interested in doing a good days work...
  8. She's actually the barmaid down my local, I was in the pub one evening complaining about how I'd been let down by my previous groundie when she perked up and volunteered her services. She's been with me daily just over a month now and runs circles round most of the young lads in the area...
  9. Just thought I'd share a pic of my current groundie. Certainly makes the day a bit brighter...
  10. Pic of the little pillar drill, will fit into a small car...
  11. Doubt you'd have space for that saw, recently got extra tables for it to extend it to 40' cut!!!!
  12. Had time to pull out the lathe from my barn and took a photo, there were 2 but my sister sold the other to a friend (only told me of this this afternoon). Just needs going over with a bit of wire wool as has a bit of surface rust, good for a freebie though... Got 2 lengths of tool rest, drive center and a couple of faceplates...
  13. Who wants a small pillar drill then??? Same thing again, free to whoever wants it...
  14. No worries, it's better than spending lots on a machine only to discover that you might not like wood turning... (Doubt that would happen though its very relaxing, therapeutic even)
  15. If you want it, it's yours.... (Taking up space translates into dont have time/can't be ars*d to put them on eBay) Am perfectly happy to keep it aside for you for a few weeks....
  16. I've a spare lathe or two you are welcome to (FREE!) if you can collect. I've got 4 in my workshop that I use and these others are taking up space. Good working order with extra drive centres and faceplates.
  17. Hi Jon, just standard 300tdi but the landy is a 127 not a 130 it has double springs from new
  18. Have got a 300tdi in there, only recently had it put in was a 3.5 v8 before (bit too juicy)
  19. Had a 360 on site... Made short work of loading those logs, bought back 9 biggies in total...
  20. Was a bit heavier than I thought....
  21. Oak log from today, on a 14" x 6.6" ifor Williams....
  22. From actually using the saw I am really impressed with the battery life, I've been using it with the ap115 batteries that were designed for use with this saw but the other 2 sizes fit, the ap180 battery is just a tad heavier but will give a longer run time....
  23. How wet is it up there this morning?
  24. Having used this saw every day for the past week I am very impressed with its performance, no vibrations / noise or exhaust fumes. Benefits of which could include being able to start work a little earlier in the mornings / weekends without disturbing anyone. Battery life is very good, far better than I'd expected. I would recommend this saw to anyone.
  25. Having been using the msa160t for the past week I've found it comparable to the 150t. Similar weight and performance but with none of the noise, exhaust or vibrations...
