  1. Its a longshot, but has anyone got a stroke delimber which could be for sale. I would consider anything, even one that needs repair or a refurb Thanks Tim
  2. THIS ADVERT HAS EXPIRED!

We have an ex demo 3t forwarder trailer for sale. It has a PTO powerpack, and boom mounted winch. This trailers is perfect for alpine or smaller tractors, the PTO powerpack is great as it allows you to operate the crane on a fast tickover saving on fuel. It has had very light use for photo and video shoots and it has also been demo'd to a few customers. Full list price is £16,085 plus VAT Price after 30% discount is £11,260 plus VAT

    £11,260

  3. All my welders and plasma cutters come from Technical Arc. They are built in the UK, really good spec for the money, proper machines. They also have really good spares and backup. In fact, they make the oxford welders. You will get a very nice welder for £1000 from them. I have run welders from them for at least 15 years now and never had a problem
  4. I know that they probably will be reliable with the electronics, but I just prefer to have something that I can fix myself without the electronics. I have read a few reviews and the Echo saws are simple 'old fashioned' style with a carb and manual adjusters. I think that I will give one a go. I will report back on what it is like once I have it Thanks Tim
  5. Looking for a new saw and came across this Echo saw. Does anyone know if it is 'computery' like a 550xp ? I like stuff I can fix myself so would prefer carb with adjuster screws, but is that even available any more ? If anyone has any feedback otherwise on this model, that would also be great to hear Thanks Tim
  6. I have had a Holder A55 for 8 years and it works a lot in the woods. I absolutely love it, I rebuilt the engine last year and the parts were quite dear, but if you look after it, it will last you many years. I have mine completely stripped down getting ready to paint it. They are built like a tank, very simple and very robust.
  7. Thanks for the answers. Are you all buying the attachments from Avant/mult-one, or aftermarket ? I presume that they are pretty expensive for what they are.
  8. I am wondering if anyone would mind sharing what attachments they bought when they bought their Avant or Multi-one loader. Have you bought more since, or did you get everything you needed when you bought it ? Thanks for any input
  9. I have Crispi boots for cross country skiing and they are fantastic. I have used them for 9 years now and still in very good condition. I would definitely buy another pair
  10. I found them pretty helpful when I dealt with them. Before we bought, we went down and test drove a few to choose the best one, it was pretty interesting driving round their site with all the ex military kit they have lying around. When I dealt with them, you had to do everything yourself, they are only interesting in selling it, so you have to sort out registration, etc.... We might have just driven it home on a Sunday and hoped for the best but I couldnt confirm that !
  11. I recommend you give Technical Arc some consideration : Technical Arc – The UK's leading manufacturer of welding & cutting equipment. TECHNICALARC.CO.UK The UK's leading manufacturer of welding & cutting equipment. They are UK manufacturers, I have a plasma cutter, a MIG welder and a TIG welder from them and they are all superb. Really great company to deal with and great backup should you ever need it. You can talk to the actual person who screwed your machine together which is worth a lot for me. They also guarantee spares availability for something like 20 years.
  12. Think I answered my own question ? It looks like it is driven from the inside of the clutch drum.
  13. Hello, I am thinking of using a 395XP chain oil pump in a different application. Can anyone tell me how the little plastic worm gear is held onto the crank. Is the shaft splined or keywayed or is it just a tight fit ? Also, anyone got a rough idea what diameter the crank is at this point Thanks for your help
  14. Yes I have been on there a lot trying to read up on it. If I can make it work, I would like to convert an old pickup also, just for fun.
  15. When I get time this summer I am going to try and make a woodgas boiler so I can run a genny from it. I will make the first one from scrap, but if I can get it to work, I am going to make a good one from Stainless and make it as a combined heat and power unit so I can heat the house and make electric. I will put a thread up when I do it. I am going to base it off these plans as he seems to have worked out a lot of the problems : Wood Gasifier Builder Set WWW.WOODGASIFIERPLANS.COM The world's most popular wood gas book + video + 2D flat CAD files.
