Hi

Rich was saying you did a lot of logs and we don't other than selling truck loads of unprocessed stuff.

We've got a couple of loads of conifer that as you know puts people off. It's yours FOC if you have any use of it. We'll even drop it off.

Let me know

John

  2.
Nice one Rich- I will be back around 1 - I'll phone when I know for sure. Sure thats not speedy bearings

  3.

Hi Rich

Just left a message on your phone.

We need help with a timberwolf wheel bearing- wondered if you had time to do it.

Cheers

John

  4.
I'm up there but probably only for traffic control if needed

  5.

Yes. Sorry Rich

Wednesday is on - thats the 23rd. Hope this still good for you. We've been so busy and I'm off to Barcelona for a few days to just get away from it all. See you on site say 8.30.

Its 2 Brambledown Wallington SM6 0TQ. Lime tree

Hi Rich- would next tuesday or wednesday work for you thats 22 or 23 october

Its a lime that needs pollarding- will need rigging. Parking under may be a problem but I'll get out there and put cones down. If that doesn't work, theres a beech reduction nearby we could do instead.

All it was Alec was we've delivered 2 or 3 loads with some biggish pieces of poplar and cherry that will probably mill. The issue for us is getting them from back gardens handballing. I think the cherry probably very usable.

Always check for nails with our wood as its often housing association and they love banging in nails

Keeping your mum busy- you'll have to say when she's got enough (or is worn out)

  9.

Hi Rich

Back from Norway- how did it go- are you moving

That lime is still there waiting for your help though I'm tempted to wait a few weeks so we're not chipping all the leaves. Hoping to get it in one cabstar load as otherwise it's time wasted running to the tip.

  10.

Hi Alec

It's a mixture - mainly cyclical housing association stuff. There is a big lime that we have to pollard though I don't think the branches are more than 6-8 inches. There may be some bigger stuff from one job as we are felling but I can't remember species. What sort of size do you want- we could try and get big lumps though they would only be hand ball size.

Anyway- thanks for the offer. How shall we proceed. I remember your mums house but not the precise address. Where would you like it tipped. Probably delivered in a cabstar so off road would be dubious if it gets wet. We're working in Gravesend today so if you get back to me I'll get the first load delivered later.

John

  11.

Hi Alec

Thanks for that- how much chip would you like

Also- is the logwood any use

  12.

Hi Rich

Good to see you at Bentley- we had a great day- you was right about the flint knapping man- he had great knowledge on the subject.

The lime in wallington is on- just checked and no conservation issues.

Give us a date- when you get back from Norway- hold it, you may stay. Either way, let us know

Cheers

John

Hi Mark

I've spoken with the people and they are happy. I've just got to get the address off one of my drivers as I can't remember it.

Hi Rich

Julian Drion

01303 850077

Try and get him as it's he who is the miracle worker- Whenever the lads have back issues, I send them his way and fantastic results. Don't delay- go today if he can fit you in. Forget the drugs. All they do is mask the pain.

I once treated a friend who wanted to run a half marathon. He was crocked. He ran the marathon 2 days later.

  15.

Hi Mark- if you're interested I've been dropping off a bit of chip at an address on the Tenterden Rd. It's a bit out of the way for me but probably suit you being nearer. They want loads as they have an area that they want to mulch where a pond used to be. By loads I mean probably - well ...loads.

Let me know I'll get you the address.

John

Hi Rich

That fence thing

Doesn't it depend on what was said to the neighbour. If he said I'll build the fence for you as you are elderly and can't. I accept that you still own it. Then it is still your neighbours responsibility either the old neighbour if still there or the new lazy bones. He has taken on the fence responsibility when he bought the house.

Having said that, I'd sooner be responsible for both sides then I can keep them to a good standard.

BTW- You are lucky you didn't help us last Friday and this Tuesday- poured down hard both days. Got it done though. Soaked. Baptism of fire for Jake. His lasting comment reducing the Holly was- it could be worse, I could be dead. Brilliant.

Hi Rich

Couldn't work that one out as early on was going sound. Did you have a difficult phone call or something. Oh well, the lads got it all done this morning. I judge climbers by their all round performance, not just 'one off' jobs so we're still cool. Still waiting for Bechenham/Bromley work to be allowed so we'll speak soon- closer for you though not for us- oh well- joys of contracting.

  18.

Hi

We would be interested in the pruning day- can you send details. I'd like the youngsters to learn too.

  19.
Are you getting into machinery fixing Rich

  20.

We use East Kent training

Mark (gollum on here) has been good but he's got too busy and we're waiting nearly 3 months for courses which is unhelpful. I know the Kingswood set up. Did you wait long for your course/assessment. Aerial rescue is v. useful for a groundie and allows you to do silky work in the tree. Ben and Jake just got it, now they want 39 and 32. Costs a fortune

  21.

Good on ya Rich

Where locally do they do 30 and 31 assessment together

In fact we need a CS31 asap and having trouble getting it booked before end March- no good really as he needs this before CS39.

Are you going for the aerial rescue/climber tickets after this?

  22.

No worries

Let me know when you want more

  23. Hi Rich

Still on for the 6/7th December?

I've got Mike Simpson who I think you know down for aerial rescue/groundie

We've done the Sevenoaks job and I thought the Sidcup Beech dismantle and Plane reduction would suit. Theres a bit of TM which we can do. If you want to see the job its at Okley Court on Main Road Sidcup between alder road and appledore crescent. We have done all the council checks so it's a go. We'll need your 066 and rigging kit for this. There will probably be a fair bit of free Beech if you know anyone locally who's interested.

    John

  24. Hi Paul (again)

Sorry the job I was thinking of is in Sevenoaks- even easier for you I guess

My number is 07779654350- I'll be up for another half hour- busy day tomorrow.

  25. Hi Paul

If you're still looking, we're working in the Tonbridge area for a few days plus soon in sidcup once I have checked out conservation area status. PM me, we'll agree a rate. We're not usually on site till 9ish and usually finish around 3.30 latest so the lads can get back to Folkestone. The work is varied but you would be climbing. Mind you I guess your fitness levels are soaring. I offer this work as our usual climber has landed a pretty much full time position although on a freelance basis in Brighton and is now not available in time. PM me and we can take it from there.
