I'll only go as low as I dare, which isn't a lot under my initial quote, but knocking £50 off a quote isn't a lot! I'm not the cheapest in my area by a long shot!

I sort of agree with you, but got so sick of all the big contractors around me doing it all time, I thought I'd join them! Certain local big firms just hate it when the small fish beat them on price!!

Some very good points there Tom, especially where you say about people on a wage etc! I always chase up and find it works! I even say, if there getting more quotes to contact me to discuss after as I'll try and stay competitive (beat the other prices)! Which has again worked!

When I first quoted they stated that they wanted it climbed and not felled in the car park as they don't actually own the car park itself! It was the builders renovating the restaurant! We arrived at 6:30pm and left at 8:15pm! Very smooth quick job!
