  1. My best present. Lots of info. Its amazing how much my home town has changed in a few hundred years.
  2. Oh yes. Some of the car parks havent had an inch of grit put on em. The roads are lethal. Especially the ones that havent been gritted. My dad and i were a bit naughty and went to our biggest ungritted car park n had a play in the BMW. On a bad note he took my uncle to the local a n e wit ha bad broken ankle. Lots of ligament damage but luckily the bone hadnt moved much.
  3. Yep. It was just by off chance we met them and we went on a massive bender. We got back to the hotel at about 4 in the morning. We didnt wake up til about 10 pm n then did it all again. Self inflicted i know but it was so much fun.
  4. Just changed mine to a very seasonal one taken on one of the sites i manage.
  5. Sod it just give me a funnel lol. Been there done that with John Pritchard and Dainton of Dirty Snachez when i was at a friends stag do in Majorca. Never again. Woke up with the hangover from hell that lasted 3 days.
  6. lol. Its only one that escaped our sight. Bit naughty telling everyone on here but we got about 1800 locked away of various pellet sizes and power rates.
  7. Just realised that i had left that one on the side. They are all locked away in a safe bolted to the gun cabinet which is bolted to the wall. Only my dad and i have keys to it.
  8. We have the second one in both of our work trucks just so we can identify the fungi. Judging by the size of the fruiting body, we decide wot is the best plan of action for the tree. Whether it be monitor each year, reduce, pollard or full removal.
  9. I meant to say in secondary brackets (humanely dispatching wounded roadside deer.) I don't actually use it to stalk deer as it is massively illegal. Its sounds like a massive overkill using 22-250 for finishing deer off as a 22 would do the job suitably but i have been asked by the local firearms officer to use it rather than a 22. Don't ask me why.
  10. I havent quite got that many but i got a few: .17 HMR (Rabbits n Rats) .22 Rimfire(Rabbits, foxes n legal corvids) .22-250(Long range rabbits, foxes n roe deer) .308 (Foxes and larger deer) 12 bore O/U Multi choke 12 bore 8 shot Multi choke 10 Bore 5 shot (Wildfowling gun set up for steel shot only)
  11. This is my xmas tipple. And my xmas eve grub. Got a couple of pics of my wildfowling mug. And a pic of my trio waiting for a bit of cheese.
  12. if ya dont want a firearms ticket then 12ftlb is ur limit. My dad and i both have BSA Ultra Multi shot. Brilliant guns. CO2 powered plenty of poke in them to kill a rabbit at 40 yards.
  13. Please note he has currently not gone anywhere near Afghanistan.
  14. We shot 18 out of one drey. We were both amazed as it didn't look like a drey just a big dark patch in a load of ivy. Two shots from me and 5 from my dad and they just kept falling out.
