  1. Yea send me pics if you can i can take some of my sj tomorrow.
  2. Hi guys anyone want to swap a lj for sj as I'm moving onto srt and the lj looks a neater package for it. My sj is a year old new cam with new lever in good condition. Talk tome!
  3. A very large thread. Dude change that skylotec they are a clumsy harness. Plus also I don't think you can change the bridge on them so you wont be able to add a swivel.
  4. That sounds like a fair deal. Let me just have a measure up today of mine so I can see what the difference is then il get back to you. Thanks dude
  5. Ah ideal what sort of money are you wanting for them? I knew they would be out there some where:-).
  6. Had them since new and they haven't had many sharpens, what are euro gaffs?
  7. I have 4 wraps and 2 braids mine bites every time as long as it is tied correct so far I'm aware of 3 different variations, my bottom tail always touches the rope on the braids and the top tail over the top.
  8. Had a look but they look like the small gaff, ideally I want something in the middle. Thanks
  9. Thanks for replies guys, I love my small gaffs for ash poles etc but when it comes to pines they are scary to be on. Il give stantons a shout hopefully they still have them.
  10. Dan I don't think otherwise I think the lj is awesome and I have been considering getting one plus a rw. I love the way you can release slack through the top. I think it is such a hard thing to compare them both as they are both as good as each other.
  11. Hi there does anyone no if you can get different size gaffs for Klein pole spikes as I can't seem to find any as the standard gaffs are to small.
  12. Spiderjack is also meant to self tend better than the lj plus finer control. Advantages of lj I'd say is that you can attach it midline plus it's easy to control limb walking via pulling slack out the top which is difficult todo with sj at the wooden break gets in the way.
  13. But andrew you never gave the sj a proper trial. :-) I'd have both if I could
  14. Iv been on my sj a year and like to think I'm pretty good but no where near to the immense control joe harris has. It takes a long time to fully understand what you can do with a sj.
  15. Sounds a plan me and a few other lads on here go climbing often. Il organise a climb in the next couple Of weeks.
  16. Iv been running pi for a year now with my sj and it's brilliant but only fault is after the rope is fairly worn it seems like it has puffed out, plus the foot pantin loves to pick away at it. The tachyon and velocity seem like a much tougher rope.
  17. Here a Douglas fir we felled Friday tallest tree iv felled yet. Shame we didn't get any pics of me rigging the top out that sure got my ass whistling;-).
  18. Bump. sawman Do you have a picture of your set up please.
  19. Saw man thanks for your reply I'm glad someone has managed to get it set up with the rw. Dan where exactly are you climbing sat?
  20. That link seems to be taking me to Hawaii itcc 2007 thread. Confused .
  21. Thanks Ian, I'm thinking but there alot of money and they wear out fast I hear.
  22. is it possible for the wrench to rest on the sj lever as it would stop at where the rope feeds in. I heard of people using it bet never meet anyone that does, it all sounds a myth lol.
  23. Hi people I'm going to take the dive and move over to SRT but is there anyone out there who has used there SJ with the RW and how did they get on? Plus do you have a picture of your set up.
  24. On a serious note I can't really see what you have done as I'm watching on phone, could you explain it ?
