  11. There are many skills in arboriculture and sometimes the smaller trees are just as tricky .
  12. Your not wrong I think it's partly being a bit lazy . I think I will buy some extra cord at the show .
  13. Same as me although hitch climber is not used as much now . I tend to grab a prussic I think the reason would be I like to keep my eye to eye nice for the RW and tend to use double for conifers such as macrocarpa or other large conifers apart from nice open stuff like scotts pine or larch .
  14. Hopefully see a few things and try them at the arbshow this weekend . What do you climb on at the moment mark
  15. Trust me sometimes when I get my throw bag stuck I just go up double and I still enjoy climbing double from time to time . Are you planning on becoming a full time climber it sounds like your very keen .
  16. Can the zigzag be used for SRT I tried it out when it first arrived at fr jones and thought it was a nice device . I really like the whole story of the RW and evolution of the device and Kevin seems like such a cool guy who will always look to improve and innovate and answer any questions .

About

Arbtalk.co.uk is a hub for the arboriculture industry in the UK.
If you're just starting out and you need business, equipment, tech or training support you're in the right place.  If you've done it, made it, got a van load of oily t-shirts and have decided to give something back by sharing your knowledge or wisdom,  then you're welcome too.
If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.
