Just wanted to thank everyone who helped on this. It's all fixed now & I know these threads often show up when people google things in the future so I'm leaving a problem solved explanation in case it should help anyone. The Auto Control some mentioned, we've never used it, only ever used the basic up & down lift arms buttons. Having the lift arms in the up position so long as to keep them out the way of the forwarding trailer had caused the solenoids to get sticky & weren't operating. On top of that there was no power getting to the buttons in the cab to make them work. Having made this diagnosis, I was fortunate that the wonderful John from Jas P Wilson was a little over an hour away & able to drop down last thing on a rainy Friday. He removed the stuck solenoid under the cab, repaired it & then he & my husband removed the panels inside & found that the whole auto control system had previously been bypassed which make sense as to why we never had any lights on it & none of it seemed to do anything, & the buttons we had been using had been tapped into the cig lighter & it was that fuse that had blown along with a loose wire. Pretty simple really & just proves why I only run old gear. Thanks to John & my husband it was all repaired & working in less than 2 hours & the only "new" part fitted was a fuse! I have fiddled with all the knobs and tried the arms with the knobs in different positions but still nothing, defo not seen an orange light though, never have.

No mine doesn't have the rear fender type switches, just the in the cab ones.

No I don't think I have, I have never noticed an orange light before but I can't see one now. I can't get the arms up or down & normally when you push the button you can hear the pump or the engine sort of change you know, you just know it's working, but not now. & the release lever in the rear of the floor isn't doing anything. How did you fix yours, please tell me it's a fuse!

Hello all, haven't been on here in ages. Took my forwarding trailer off my 6600 this eve to put the pto winch on, weirdly, the lift arms won't go up or down. Everything else seems fine, any ideas? Sure I've knocked a switch, or something simple as it was fine last time I had the winch on. Rendered my whole operation useless! Any ideas much appreciated Cheers, Nat.

From each kiln I'd expect about 1.5m3 of BBQ charcoal, & around .5m3 of fines to grade down for their different outlets too.

All kilns emptied, graded & bagged. Been working on making a few new products from my charcoal recently. Have soap, eye liner & toothpaste, & now that I've emptied the kilns I need at least two of them followed by beer, though off for a surf first!?‍♀️?

Yes we did. Paid our cover every year for 8 years, then needed to make a claim & learned the nightmare that is insurance claims. Our policy was actually with Liverpool & Victoria, Tree surgeon insurance are just brokers. We paid all that time for nothing, couldn't get the help we were told we were entitled to. When we went back to Tree surgeon insurance they said there was nothing they could do as the policy was with Liverpool & Victoria. So why had we taken it out with them? We cancelled the policy right then & will never take out another. £8k wasted for nothing. I now don't believe in personal accident insurance, I just bank the cash that I'd spend on insurance & I'll use that instead when I need to. If you can I'd go straight to the company actually providing cover. The only other time I've ever need to claim insurance in my life was a minor road traffic accident & Farmers Union who insure my truck & trailers were brilliant, couldn't have asked for more help.

We supply hardwood only to a couple of pubs in the area, other than that if they want hardwood only we recommend where possible another supplier as wont do it. Simple. This is who we are, what we do, how we do it & why. If that doesn't fit your needs, we're not suited to you, end of.
