  1. I should have done my research on them before placing my order. They certainly won't be receiving any other custom from me and I won't be recommending there service to anyone that asks.
  2. Does anybody know somebody with some kind of authority at Northern Arb Supplies? I placed a order with them 10 weeks ago now, with payment. And not a word, every time I phone up, the chap who took my order is conveniently with a customer and will phone back, and I'm still waiting for that call! Not overly amused with there customer service! Any help would be appreciated.
  3. I most certainly won't be doing it for that, would need to be at least double that!
  4. Bloke has asked me to grind out the above stump. He has already quoted the customer £80. Who reckons he is having a laugh!!!?
  5. Could anybody tell me if there is a severe shortage of Arbor Trollies? I ordered and paid for one along with some other bits from Northern Arb Supplies 9 weeks ago! Several phone calls and emails from me, and I keep being fobbed off with "they will be here in two weeks!" The bloke who seems to be in charge, if you can call it that! Hasn't even had the courtesy to reply to my last two phone calls this week! So as you can imagine, I'm getting slightly pee'd off! So can anyone on here tell me what is going on with Stein? Thanks in advance, Sam.
  6. Thank you all for your thoughts on this. I have submitted a quote. So I shall see what comes of it. Have a good weekend guys.
  7. Have a look at the Arboricultural Association website, help for Aborists page. A useful PDF with recommended terms and conditions.
  8. Hi can anybody offer any advice on staking this Juniper? Customer planted it 5 years ago, and in the high winds a few weeks ago, the top is now of centre by approx 2', with quite a lot of movement in the root ball. They don't want to loose it, as it gives them a good shield from the monstrosity of a house that was built next door, last year.
  9. If you are not sorted, I have a mate at Selborne, just south of Alton. Could have word with him tomorrow.
  10. Nope! Still waiting! A email will be on its way to stein worldwide soon!
  11. Ordered one from Northern Arb Supplies getting on for 6 weeks ago now. Several phone calls and still nothing! Getting a tad pissed off now! Cheap for a reason!
  12. The NFU are undoubtably expensive. We have however had to make claims through the NFU and other insurance company's, and it's right what they say. "You pay for what you get!"
  13. We used to do work on the Queen Mothers, Bowes Lyon family estate Nr Hitchin.
  14. Ely cathedral is pretty impressive. Or you could get a chaffeau punt up the back of the colleges, wrap up warm! Plenty to do, I live here and haven't done much if it.
  15. Hi chaps. Been looking into doing some further training next year. Can anyone recommend anyone in the Cambridge area? Cheers and Happy Christmas.
  16. Well Iam now the proud owner of a Rayco RG1625 super jr. Thanks for all the help and advice.
  17. It shall be made out to them, and my terms are 14 days.
  18. They told me this morning to invoice them, and they will pass it onto the land/tree owner. So that's what I shall be doing! Was just wondering what the law was on the matter. As the bloke was being a arse, refused to give his name and mouthing off etc!
  19. I thought that may be the case. So the load of woodchip I have on my truck should legally be returned to him/his drive?
  20. Right. A management company for a block of flats that I look after called me this morning. The top of a 60 odd ft conifer that's on a neighbouring bit of scrub land had blown out, across the fence, car park and sheds of the flats. Whilst on the shed roofs the owner, who turns out is a complete arse came round and told me he wasn't going to pay, it's the flats responsibility as it's landed on their property. And it was my responsibility to make the stem safe on his side if the fence, which I did! Can someone tell me how the law stands on this? Cheers Sam.
  21. Where abouts are you? How much you after, Rings or split?
