  1. Yup I machined an adapter for mine
  2. I entirely agree, it's why I only sub climb I can deal with the nonsense when it's personal
  3. I know I could certainly could climb it, with the grcs I would lift everything up and away I would balance the limbs horizontal. However the anchor points are not looking great that's going to be a lot of physical climbing a lot of hard work So id also push for a mewp
  4. This was yesterday nice wee beech reduction couldn't have gone any better, I like subbing to this firm We couldn't get the back so I had to climb
  5. Nothing exciting, oak reduction previous cuts were awful. Crap anchors, spanned two limbs. Ash reduction, tight drop, plastic corrugated sheeting, AstroTurf and a green house. Had been absolutely hammered in the past completely flat not to points. Did the best I could, not pretty but not worse. Tpo'd complete waste of a tpo Spare climber gave us a hand to chuck it into the tight drop area, I went over the stubs I left some as I was uncertain if I was going to leave it or take more.
  6. To be honest it's never been an issue.
  7. What tree work is this exclusive and secretive What are you the very special tree service
  8. Ah man that is convenient isn't it. If I'm getting this correctly mobile are banned, shouting and poor communication is encouraged. Here is an theory, they just don't want to hear you whine on.
  9. Does botty cough have any pictures of his work? I just use motorbike intercoms mainly as I also have them for motorcycling
  10. I haven't though i can see the advantages, im might try a burton self tailing rubber on mine
  11. Mine has a Lewmar not self tailing, I paid £72 for two posted. I have had a better plate laser cut I just need to pull my thumb out and get to welding it up .
  12. Does seem that way, plant two fast growing trees side by side amazing. Grcs are without a doubt game changers, though I won't drop big logs on it seems unnecessary given the cost of a new capstan alone is £1200
  13. 100% always think ahead and all that.
  14. He was a clown, arguably talks similar
  15. Could be any one of the local pub heros 🤣
