  11. i have just been offer an 53 transit 350 lwb medium roof 90ps with90 with100,000 on the clock, 2 grand. which i migth consider. ( My uncles works van) so i know what its been used for traveling up and down the country. a pannel van would also be ideal for my racing as however i already have the use of vw crafter for racing ( my dads works van) but a tree surgeon vechile is a tipper. i dont no weather a pannel van would do much for business promotion. ps what would be better fuel enconmy. oh and this would be my main mode of transport as i carnt affoard to run 2 race bikes, a tipper or pannel van and a car ( only 19yrs old and yes i can get insured for either or )

  19. Yes the this a Arb forum but its worth plugging. so here it goes.. Running a race team is deceptively expensive, running a competitive race team even more so. Brent Nichol Racing is very lucky in that it has sponsors to help support the running costs of the team and machinery, but every little helps. `Brent Nichol Racing works hard to stretch every penny to keep a competitive package on track and get the best from the budget available and you can help. Anybody can sponsor Brent Nichol Racing! We can offer packages that includes getting your name and logo on the race bike, a link to your website from brentnicholracing.co.uk and tickets into Brent Nichol Racing hospitality at any rounds throughout the year. If you do become a sponsor then we can also offer the bikes as a show piece at any of your corporate events or functions. If you would like to discuss sponsoring Brent Nichol Racing then please contact us at [email protected]` We are Set to be riding in the thundersport Mini Twin championship which are televised. 22. Hello People, Well I have been self employed for the past 4 month and think its time to by a tipper. i have roughly 1900 quid to spend. Now ive been looking around and there seems to be Loads of Glasow ex council LDV crew cab tippers. Can anyone give me some info on the LDV's as to what to look for and what they are like etc. Im going to view one on the weekend, 02plate with 60000miles, cages, crew cab. PS if anyone knows of any cheap tipper going can you let me know cheers
  23. exactly mate, we were thinkin of buy a chipper to hire out to try and regain some back. however you only get a 80-100 a day it'll take a long time to make a profit. thats if theres minimal work. what are arb businesses like through the winter period i would image it would be busyer than landscapers what with doormancy ( prunning work) and wind damage
  24. hi all, we are fairly new to the tree business. we are currently trading landscapers looking to take a step into tree services as i have gain all the realitive qualification eg ntpc . nd in arb etc. we have been offered a goverment grant of 30%.however we need to put 15 grand into the business in order to start operation aka buying another van, chipper and training for another member of staff. i would like to have some opinions on whether to take a risk at this time of year???
  25. i have already put a post on here looking for some work. recently register as self employed. i have 3 weeks work booked in. and after that there's nothing kicking around. if anyone requires a climber/ groundie/driver over this period please give me a shout. ntpc certifitied, clean drivers licence. nd in arb, currently studing fdsc in arb. own climbing kit and transport . im situated in morpeth northumberland but willing to travel in the north of england . cheers
