  4. it totally depends o how much power you want out of the saw, i went for a modification where the life span of the engine stayed the same, but the power was increased. It totally depends on what you want from the saw, just send pete a quick pm and he will talk all about it to you:thumbup:

Hello everyone i recently have sent my stihl ms460 to petemate390xp where it was turned from an great saw, into an amazing saw, if anyone is considering having a saw "ported" i would strongly recommend it,it has loads of power and is able to run upto a 28" bar so would be great for use in a tree at the end of a day when fatigue becomes a factor, i am seriously considering getting my other saws done, due to how impressive my 460 is:biggrin: I can highly recommend Pete for the modifications, pete communications through out the process was great, and always more than happy to answer any question i had about the process i can not say how happy i am with it. thankyou pete

  13. yep stayed in one place most of the day, found it rather strange tbh, because i was trying to look busy but could not and i tried my best on the rigging front

  16. Couple of pictures from a recent job, had to pollard it down to where the Ivy was, Was a good job, and great weather for it, Mr "majestic" of here was doing the climbing, the pictures are in no particular order

  18. valdataine knot, not sure how to spell it, and two fishermans knots, You could also use a distil hitch, scabish knot, try them all and find out the best one for your climbing

    spoke to the husky guy a capel and he said july time, but just called up this company Husqvarna T540 Top Handled Petrol Chainsaw and they will have them in stock in august
