The yard I’ve been renting was coming to an end at the end of this month so I had to get out, few phone calls and there’s some work Essex/Kent. Although I’m a Stokie through n through it’s a shitehole, had no trouble but glad to see the back of it. East Anglia is where I feel settled.

Silence returned to the house, so the burglar crept forward again. "Jesus is watching you," the voice boomed again. The burglar stopped dead again. He was frightened. What a croc, the lass I’m kicking about with is an insurance broker, with her company, and many other insurance companies there is a 10-15% uplift for sign written vans. As for magnetic signs being for pikeys I don’t think I’ve ever read such nonsense, I can’t remember the last time I saw a traveller with magnetic signs, and I mix with quite a few. Some of us don’t have any option, well, we do but I wouldn’t get the subby work I get if my van was sign written.

Picked up a Peugeot Bipper this afternoon, 09 plate 75k on the clock, timing belt done 4k miles ago, full service history. I’m going to put a new clutch in it on Monday, it will come with 12 months ticket. £1750-£2k depending on what it needs, if anything, when it goes in for the MOT.

I decided it would be a good idea to fall off my mates crosser a while back, I didn’t plan on almost leaving my little finger behind, Arnica cream seems to soothe it a little, but it can be a right face puller if a catch it wrong.

A-Plan, now Howden insurance work well for me. I’ve got my van, tipper, camper, and box with them. Not had to claim off them but their reviews seem good.

I was wondering what the skin fitting was about, have you thought about ducting the air inlet into the part of the shed you are heating to recirculate the already heated air?

I’ve not got one in my present box as I’m waiting for the Hcalory 2kw to come out, although I did read a week or two ago that it isn’t going to happen now. In my last box I ran my Maxpeedingrods day and night all through winter with no issues, as did many other people I know or speak to. I realise they are cheap knockoffs of the German heaters but after all they are night heaters. I’ve often wondered if my insurance would pay out if my box went up in flames due to one of these heaters, I guess I know the answer! I’ve never heard of one going up in flames. Have you got a picture of your setup?

You can buy insulated ducting for not a lot of money, recirculating the warm air, as you have is the way to go, makes the heater much more efficient.

Believe me, I’ve been there. unless you are big time or processing arb arisings it’s a lot of work for small profit. Much easier ways to make a living.

No annoyance from me, many dogs have a bad reputation, many people blame it on the breed, many people blame it on the owners. At the end of the day, any breed of dog can be trained and exercised to be calm and civil.

These pups were meant to go to the police, there’s been a breakdown in paperwork and now the police won’t take them, so they need homing by people who can handle them. I didn’t need to mention I’d get a pup, which if I choose I could have sold on. You assume way too much.

I’ve had a few working dogs over my time, mainly Spaniels and terrier’s but I’m sure I can handle most dogs, I’m up and about at 04:30 to take out a mates XL that I’m looking after for a few days while he’s away to a wedding. Peds slant at an accusation that I’m around people with fighting dogs is so far off the mark it’s fecking insulting, twat! That really isn’t my style. I mentioned these dogs here because there are plenty of us around the group that keep, have kept all breeds of dogs, these pups won’t be going to just anyone, they will only go to people that know what they are taking on.
