Do you need me to explain where I live when it is clearly stated under my avatar?, unlike your profile. A top end joiner thought I lived, or was from Yorkshire. Why you both can't work this out is beyond me.

Ask me what you want, I'll either have an opinion, or throw my hands in and say I don't know. Should I presume that you being in education means you were a student or a teacher/lecturer? Can you see how vague things seem to be?

I have to be careful what I say because I don't watch TV, the village I live in has one family of colour, they are Sri Lankan's that own the village shop/post office.if my work took me in a small radius of say ten miles the only people of colour I'd see would be in restaurants, takeaways and petrol stations. If Mr Johnsons take on the subject is correct it's not representative of what I see in day to day life.

Erm, well I'm not happy about it. Using the desktop version the 'red light' used to come on if someone tagged me or PM'd me, that isn't happening now.

One of life's tw*ts, got his new £220k Morello Place (motorhome) and doesn't give a flying if people are struggling due to Covid-19. If we did what the government told us to do we wouldn't be in this mess brigade.

Lots might not know who he was, some will know he was on top of civil engineering back in the day. Whether it be bridges, tunnels or rail, he knew his onions. That said, he did get it massively wrong more than once.

**Update** He's back, his Mrs got a text to say she must isolate for 14 days, he's heard nothing. When he was on the plane he was talking to a lorry driver who was on holiday, he told my mate he would have to isolate when he gets home, but if he'd drove/ boat to Turkey in his truck he wouldn't have to isolate. That's cleared things up then.
