  1. The police are coming round tomorow to get statement and collect all the correspondence between myself and the crims and go from there.
  2. Hi guys just a heads up. I've just been done out of 3 grand for a firewood splitter. Scamming ring set up false eBay acounts they send you a forged email invoice. They set up false eBay helplines so when you ring to check anything you choose options and speak to a false eBay representative. You then pay the money to an eBay holding account which doesn't actually excist and they take that money and run. I hope nobody else on here was as stupid and gulable as me. Just remember if its too good to be true it probably is. 3 grand for a palax 70 2009 definately was. Trust nobody !!!!
  3. You always need growth points where possible. If customer spec i.e a 50% reduction or something along them lines means you can't then just do your best. I find on big trees that are playing on my mind I just get stuck in. Before you realise you will be so busy concentrating on the shape and where your going next in the tree you'll forget all about the fact that the ground is a long way down and the day will blow past.
  4. Hi guys. The tree report was done by an independent surveyor who really does no his stuff. I know this as I do work for him. We have been telling the council for years and have actually quoted for work before. He was very angry about these papers and television reports because they have not quoted him word for word what was in the report. The report stood up with the coroners report in court and the family have actually been given a large pay out for there loss. Not that any amount of money could be enough. It is a very delicate case and any contractor put in this position will be scrutinised by everyone but don't believe all in the papers and news. The tree reports previous were apparently done by council chairmans son who has no quals to back anything up. Bit of back hander sort of arrangement so I here but don't quote me as this is down the grape vine.
