  1. Need quite a large skidding winch to pull 40ft lengths of poplar from a woodland. If anyone has one for sale please let me know.
  2. that would be great. the job is down overcoat rd in over. im taking most of tree down tomorrow if you fancy a look let me know. you can get a cherry picker to it as well if needed.
  3. hi guys. got an 82 yr old customer wants a 20ft toten pole carving into something nice only problem is its poplar. he doesn't care if it rots away as he said he will be dead soon just wants to make the most out of it. anyone interested in doing it. jobs near Cambridge. cheers ben

  5. definitely LV safe working zone of 1m but branches are touching so that's that out the window. get supplier to get it isolated at the pole then you can work on it no worries and its free

  8. looking in to kiln drying and biomass boilers. ive heard about log pro but figures on RHi are a bit vague. sound like they make all the money from the RHI and the user gets less than 10% going by the realistic output figures of people already using there own. any comments would be appreciated. regards ben

  13. Hi guys I have a poplar plantation in cambs to clear fell. Just wondering if harvester would be the best thing to use 1700 trees 12-15 inch diameter. I'm looking at maybe buying a 7.5 ton digger with a harvesting head. Any advise would be great. Or if anyone is selling such a machine I would be interested. Thanks Ben
  14. I've got a mondeo st diesel 155bhp loads power. Very good car full spec leather cruis control etc. I paid 3100 with 98 thousand on clock
  15. I had that all it was was a corroded battery lead where the woodchip had been laying wet on it
  16. Would it be possible to have an arctic load delivered half in one site and then half in a site 15 mins away in a neighbouring village ?
  17. NFU was the winner in the end no problem at all sir bish bash bosh all done for you sir. All the other arse holes went through all the crap and then at the end turn round and say sorry sir we cannot offer you a quote for this vehicle. I have spent about 3 hrs on the for the last 2 days.
  18. Literally everyone I have rang has said no we can't offer you a quote unless its 6 seats or less
