  1. I know a lad from Glasgow who wouldn't pay fines and stuff to get few week sentences said it was a break from his lass and reckoned he liked the 3square meals a day and the banter:001_rolleyes:
  2. No mate I preferably want some with vents in etc a lad done a day for us couple weeks ago had type a husky trousers on with vents in the back looked canny

  8. As Pete says too though mate melting point won't be the best we used to natural crotch with it and my old gaffer used to get it for next to nowt so we used to change it quite often
  9. That sounds canny enough with that stuff I like the 20mm stuff mate the 16mm is probably strong enough it's just that's what I'm used to so I'd have peace of mind:thumbup1:

I'd like to hope my brain would think of my kids and not go too far so I end up in prison for life BUT seeing someone threaten your wife and kids with a knife could bring out the killer instinct in any man! In fact seeing someone threaten a total strangers kids with a knife could and probably would bring it out of you.
  11. That's all I used for years does the trick mate. Do you have a link? might get some. It's good for pulling stems over with van etc stuff you wouldn't wanna use your expensive ropes for:biggrin:
  12. Heard about the one in hexham mate apparently was very quiet road and hardly anyone went down there. Thoughts with the family.
  13. My rope has an eye in mate but I use other end and tie a bowline on. Can't explain why but I prefer it to an eye:confused1:

  17. If you push the loop up at the back it comes straight open. Not shooting you down tho bud climb on what's best for you I think, I hate those spliced ropes most love em:)
  18. I'm sure you can get new style ones mate jonsie will know I got mine from him and they had the short gaffs on keep them big uns for trees covered in ivy:biggrin:
  19. Mine have the shorter ones mate I've tried those longer ones and couldn't get away with them. I was marking the tree the same as you with them on but some people do prefer them that you have:)
  20. Try Ben Lad on here mate very good climber all tickets and gear is a great lad too
  21. Seen a firm with "no bush too tuff" on the side haha tree monkey may get a laugh and some customers but if you want to get into big contracts etc later you got to think of the image you are giving
  22. I always get jealous of all these emergency work threads our trees are rock hard and laugh in the face of wind haha
  23. It's that new blower I got from Jonsie it's fired up a storm:lol:
  24. I worked all weekends and holidays with my father who was a climber and was basically my hero:biggrin: Thought it was so cool so left school went straight to college then worked away for various companies for 8 year then moved home and set up business with my brother:thumbup:
