  1. Is the chain length different mate? I'll give it a go:) it's the first one I've bought the only time I've used one before the lads all had 18inch bars fitted that's probably why I think it's not that fast
  2. Aye too true Hama I never try to lie my way through these situations I prefer to talk about what I do know:)
  3. As Jon says get a 660 mate and your 441 should last longer:) I have 25inch on my 660 and hoped that would cut faster than it does to be honest
  4. I know what Deans saying no need to ram it down customers necks but it is good to know the Latin names even though I've forgot most of them but at least when there is a variety of oak cherry maple etc you can define them to one species quercus prunus acer etc nowt worse than when you price a job and the customer knows more than you regarding species and can't wait to prove it haha
  5. Had you severed the ivy on that tree behind you there too Rob? Ginja I'm proud of you and I don't even know you! You must be very very proud:) inspirational stuff
  6. A few pubs up here mark might remember ask for dog bite and you get newky brown and cider haha
  7. I reckon it depends on area too Nick I may give Thompson a go vie got YP just for back up or a just incase something big comes from it but up to now it's hardly been worth it.
  8. Last job I looked at from a yellow pages enquiry I drove a 50 mile round trip to look at a "LARGE" reduction which turned out to be a ornamental acer that the last bloke done for fifteen quid!
  9. It only gives timewasters my number to try and sell me crap won't be in next year I seem to find my own work anyway
  10. Just googled it doesn't look good mate would be interesting to see if anyone won owt though:)
  11. Well done mate you must be proud:)
  12. Wey aye t cut will sort the job out mate haha I'm seriously gutted mate I'd like to show him the car and my kids and tell him to look me in the aye and go back on his word and blame me! Hopefully anyone reading will get a written statement at the scene unlike me:)
  13. It's a shame because people who keep asking me for work have no motor no gear but a couple of tickets and seem arrogant with it. Seems further down country lads have the pickings of some good potential lads:)
  14. With council properties they are the client not the person living in the house as Andy said they have a duty of care as it's their property
  15. I may know someone who has a turner winch or similar from tm or matador I'll give him a ring for you mate
  16. If nfu are not bad mate I'd go for them at least they can be trusted to pay:) here's my car mate I'm obviously nearly died and he admitted fault on scene but has now changed his mind he also knows I have two kids! I'm getting sick of my trust in other people doing the right thing as I would. sorry if this is derailing.
  17. Too true mate I don't even know who I dare talk to on the phone at the minute since the accident it's like everyone is trying to rip you off and set you up for more heartache!
  18. I went through same people as my grandas business goes through, got quoted for 56reg transit tipper for 720 quid with no claims because of additional vehicle, not bad I'm 28 but they got mixed up because I have same name as my Granda and they thought I was 71 it's now around 1200quid! Thing is now someone cut me up on motorway other day flipped my motor and although admitting on scene is now blaming me??? So if it goes his way my personal and business insurance will go up I'm not happy at the minute:(
  19. Nice one aye he's getting there mate!
  20. Seen the old girl down crook last night:)
  21. I think that photo will be classed as porn to some members Dave haha
  22. Sound advice Ben cheers:) I'm spot on bit stiff and shook up that's all. I walked up the road away from the guy for a few minutes to chill out at first then the euphoria of being lucky to be alive kicked in haha
  23. With those filthy pics of pylons and now these this is turning into fetish talk haha
  24. Aye he was still at the scene mate he apologized to me said he looked in mirror but never seen me! Now the police say there was two witnesses one blames him and one blames me. I reckon one was his wife. Don't know how somebody pulling across my lane and nearly killing me can be my fault?
  25. Don't mean to be cheeky mate but I wanna buy one from some city toff who has a heart attack when it goes near grass haha I wouldn't fancy buying a truck from another arborist as I know what we do to them;) I'm only after one as I need one occasionally for work but can't justify it sitting about so might aswel have one at home and the fact that driving up the m1 by Wakefield yesterday someone decided to pull into the fast lane without checking his mirrors thus sending me into the barriers flipping my car and nearly killing me only had it three month so now fancy a pick up to tootle about in
