  2. I do all my hardwood cutting in july. I been lead to believe that at that time the tree is producing its own natural rooting hormone. It seems to work. Hope this helps

  7. Heres my favourite oak near my house u can climb right up the inside. A few year ago it was nearly dead them quite by accident the dumped a couple of loads of manure round it and of she went again.

  11. Generally speaking the engines on machines don't last as long due to the vibrations this applies to normal stump grinders as well.
  12. No I waiting for delivery of mine and I will run it on a Boxer 532 DX. Speak to Robin at R&R He was very helpful and sorted out a demo. The unit is british built and very well made in my opinion. Hope this helps.
  13. The R&R stump grinder head takes all the flow the engine can give. Only a small amount is needed to sweep the stump as it is the crowding of the bucket head that does this. I can understand that some people need a dedicated stump grinder that fine, however I also needed a yard loader, flail mowing, post hole drilling, lifting 1ton to six feet ect... No stump grinder no matter how good can do any of these. Its not quite as good as a vemeer 352 but there nearly the same price. On the rare occasion that I need a large grinder I will hire one. (probably once or twice a year)

  19. I was on my way to south africa. This was three years ago it wasn't to bad then.
  20. I cut several every time I cut an elder tree down. Leave the bark on after a few sharpens its peachy.
  21. It was a 10" stump the video just started at the end. Will post when Mine arrives.
