  3. I totally get where everyone is coming from and all advice is taken onboard. Customer wants me to do it but... if it isn't going to plan then we hire in tractors etc. I've farming mates that are here also so there's no chance of me cocking it up! I'll probably never do this again so I couldn't turn down the challenge! Jonny Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk

  6. Today I pumped out 40 litres of red from my ibc container of red. Put it in the Vermeer and dove it 100 yards before it conked out. Came back and took a sample of the fuel and it's got a bit of water in it. Took out the fuel pump and there's ice in that too [emoji35] Can the fuel be saved or is it a case of bin it and get 1000 litres of new? Any advise much appreciated Jonny Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk

  10. The new owner has just purchased the extra acreage off a local farmer. The last crop was maize. The idea is to now turn it back to pasture. We intend to do as much as we can before the weather gets too grotty and in spring clear up around the edges ( crown lift trees/clear old scrub etc) to get right up to the boundaries. I'll ask tomorrow about a 4f plough. The body will be coming off the Mog as it'll be a good time to sort out a few things on it whilst it's not in use [emoji106]🏻 Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk

  25. Hi All Finally getting a chance to go through a few things on Timon's old Mog It came with a set of drop arms that need a bit of tlc. AV's have quoted £600 plus vat plus carriage for a new set. Does anyone know where else I can try to get a few bits to recon them? (Appreciate any help as it's still all a bit new to me!) Cheers Jonny Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
