  4. Hi I have found a small yard to store some timber for logs. Its quite well hidden but you can guarantee that some B*gger will find it and start helping themselves to my wood stash:cursing: can anyone recommend a camera for putting up a tree to try and get some images? Cheers Jonny:
  5. Evening Looking for someone to help out 3-4 times a week. Apart from the tree work I do grounds maintenance as well and also have 30 acres of woodland. Chainsaw tickets not necessary but a willing to learn and graft is a must. I'm based in Guildford and work the surrounding areas. Pm if interested. Jonny:001_smile:
  6. Evening! After reading lots of posts on the subject can anyone recommend an electric sharpener for badly damaged chains? I'm quite happy with using a hand file most of the time but seem to have a collection that have hit metal etc and fancy a machine to get the cutters all the same length. Any help much appreciated Jonny:001_smile:
  7. Here's my first stack! Nothing to go barmy about but I love the work involved!

  11. Managed to get a few pics of it today. If anyone could give me some more info on this machine that'll be great:thumbup: He says that with a good battery it'll run. Whaddya reckon? Spoke to Osbornes and got given a rough price on fixing. What should I offer him? Or should I walk away?? Cheers Jonny:001_smile:
  12. Brilliant! Thanks for the info!
  13. To cut a long story short I was with a customer today walking round his yard looking for some pallets and saw A TP 760 looking rather sad for itself. The guy said that if I wanted it he would sell it to me. He said it starts and works fine but If I bought it I'd like to have it fully serviced/painted/replace the major components etc. I'd like to know if there's any one in the south east that could do this for me and roughly what kind of money would this be? If anyone could help I'd be very grateful. It would be my first chipper and just hope it doesn't cost the world to get fixed! cheers Jonny
  14. Just found their site. I'll bell them tomorrow. Cheers!

  18. Been moving stuff around with it today so decided to put in half way up then lower it, raise/lower etc for maybe 10 times with a full load. Still not made any difference. Double checked all the obvious bits too. However.....It does judder really quickly on the way down (nothing too extreme but enough to hear it). Any Ideas???? :confused1:
  19. Tried the 2 button press before and thats not made any difference. The oil vent is clear and it's able to breath. It's the 3rd one I've had (had 2 stolen) and yet it's the first one with this problem! I just wondered if any one else has had the same problem before I end up booking it in somewhere. Thanks for those that have suggested ideas
  20. Evening all! Been having a few probs with my tipper recently. Tipping no problem even fully loaded, but lowering takes for ever:thumbdown:. Thought it might have been the cold making the fluids all gloopy but now it's warmer it's still no better. Any ideas gents? Thanks in advance Jonny:001_smile:
