    MotoMix shelving

If only they could be refilled......
  2. We generally do midland or SOE but have done a few 'conservation style'. Some folk don't use any stakes but the sites we had were exposed so used stake every meter or 2 and a few crooks. The stakes do help hold it together as we had some hefty stems. Plus even spaced stake line does look 'tidier' I do like the south west and welsh hedges that are low non a bank and crooked. Agreed if it's roadside a staked and bound style would look good and not get blown about
  3. I would say coppice and plant up. Might be worth trying to layer some of the smaller stuff and see if it takes root
  4. Yeah I found bigger stuff lays so much better late in the season-always risks running out if time though
  5. Woodland Craft Supplies - Newtown Billhook - £74.95 : Woodland Craft Supplies WWW.WOODLANDCRAFTSUPPLIES.CO.UK Woodland Craft Supplies Woodland Craft Supplies - Newtown Billhook - A Newtown pattern billhook, made to our exacting... I believe they might be making other patterns too

  19. We have milled it. It was used for cladding on a school building next to where the tree stood
  20. Sorry I completely missed this! If you need a hand next season I am Oxford based and happy to quote
  21. I could spend some money there!!
  22. I think you just have to go with what you think is a fair day rate that you are both happy with, its definitely all a learning curve and I'm never sure if we are too cheap or too expensive!! I'd love to be milling in Sweden!!!!
  23. Im oxford/bucks border. Yeah vertical cuts ok if we go steady. Def need to keep blade sharp too
  24. I've got a 10/30 and it just fits in my lwb transporter with rails on the roof but its tight. I used to have it in trailer but I hated seeing it bounce about on potholed roads. Plus I can carry mill and tow avant now!
  25. I have the 10 with slabbing attachment but I'd like to know how much better the dedicated slabber is. They are strong money for sure
