    I've never come across the first one. I did wonder if the black ones were daldinia, but they didn't really look like pictures I've seen- they were a good 20 foot above my head though! Thanks for that!

    Does anyone know what these are/could be? The third pic is the tree that pic 4 and 5 were in, sorry the photo is awful quality but they were high up so I had to zoom right in.

    Hmm, I think September, same day I took the photo of the fly agaric. I could be wrong though, was over a year ago!

    I'm interested in learning more about fungi, don't know much (except some are tasty!) but a couple of threads on here have been really interesting and would like to learn more, going to look out for them next year.

    Yes it worked, arguably no better than a piece of grass between your thumbs though! Thought it was a sheep too.

    Neither... there are birch in the vicinity though not right there... Yes knew it was amanita, do you know what the other fungi I posted was?

    Try firebox.com think they have one on there. Also they have a mini rc car that goes up walls and across ceilings!

    Thanks everyone Bazbro, it is willow yes, I haven't heard the name harlequin hedge though. Just called it a willow fence! There's a kids den in the corner, and that a metre or so away to make a barrier with a couple of child size arches for going in and out. That's my first go at it, there was already a willow dome there put in a few years before. I'm planning a willow bird hide next year.
