  1. Interesting. What sort of fungi are you talking about being carried?
  2. I've never come across the first one. I did wonder if the black ones were daldinia, but they didn't really look like pictures I've seen- they were a good 20 foot above my head though! Thanks for that!
  3. Does anyone know what these are/could be? The third pic is the tree that pic 4 and 5 were in, sorry the photo is awful quality but they were high up so I had to zoom right in.
  4. Thanks hamadryad, will have a look there and see how I get on. Am definitely interested, think they are fascinating.
  5. Thanks will look it up an keep an eye out there next year.
  6. Hmm, I think September, same day I took the photo of the fly agaric. I could be wrong though, was over a year ago!
  7. Thanks, took it ages ago, will make sure any I take in future are a bit more useful!
  8. I'm interested in learning more about fungi, don't know much (except some are tasty!) but a couple of threads on here have been really interesting and would like to learn more, going to look out for them next year.
  9. Any advances on what the other fungus is? I know it's not a very good pic for ID, sorry!
  10. Yes it worked, arguably no better than a piece of grass between your thumbs though! Thought it was a sheep too.
  11. Ok ok I don't deal well with technology of any kind!!
  12. Neither... there are birch in the vicinity though not right there... Yes knew it was amanita, do you know what the other fungi I posted was?
  13. Sorry, wrong pic! No, it's a kazoo, lol!
  14. Ha I'm sure I've stayed in worse places! If that skull is a person I'd be worried!
  15. Oops! Didn't post the right pic for pic 2- it was supposed to be this-
  16. The second pic is a bit fuzzy, but does anyone know what it is?
  17. Try firebox.com think they have one on there. Also they have a mini rc car that goes up walls and across ceilings!
  18. Thanks everyone Bazbro, it is willow yes, I haven't heard the name harlequin hedge though. Just called it a willow fence! There's a kids den in the corner, and that a metre or so away to make a barrier with a couple of child size arches for going in and out. That's my first go at it, there was already a willow dome there put in a few years before. I'm planning a willow bird hide next year.
  19. Think it was this I'd been doing.
  20. A spoon I think! I like that one too- thought it was just me being odd!
  21. Thanks I take lots of crap photos too I can assure you!
