Come out on a few Ancient tree forum meetings, attend the annual BMS meetings both are free!

  14. So, thanks to A. cowan, here is one of if not the most upto date and informed book on Fungi and trees. This feels like a bit of a gamble putting this one out there after the Body language books been taken AWOL. But this ones a must see and out of print, DO NOT BORROW WITH THE INTENTION OF PERMANENCY! So whos first?

  16. Andrew Cowan made a very generous donation to book club today, the list of books is too long for me to even contemplate populating right now but suffice to say, there will be lots and lots to keep you all occupied for a VERY long time! Thanks Andrew, your a top top lad!

  18. I met up with Andrew Cowen today to collect a massive donation to my bookclub (Big up respect Andrew that was a VERY large and generous donation!) As you would expect when two of the elites of the arbor ecology set get together special is the name of the game! We popped off for a mini bimble to west wickam common, well it was bound to be epic! I had already stopped off at Knole house grounds as I do when out that way and had a great time, but then we went to West Wickem, and I could not contain myself, there she was, not one, not two but three trees holding the uba rare Oak polypore, Piptoporus quercinus! AWESOME!
  19. Things are that tight at the end of next week i dont think I will have the petrol to get to Kew but the weekend after is probably doable?
