I think Meripilus is a perfectly capable saprotroph but lets not forget it is also a very capable wood degrading fungi with a toolbox to die for, including Pectinase for degrading the middle lammela and also soft rot as well as white rot capacities. Pectinase is the one to be afraid of, Pectin the super adhesive is the bond between cells/vessels

  10. yes "philosophical" seems at odds really, feels wrong on all counts to be charged VAT on such things, not say for the big boys, but for the little guys its a bit daunting to try and do all the measures at the earliest stages when you trying to get off the ground so to speak. I think they should drop the VAT on Safety, would encourage wider participation at the end that needs to most:thumbup1:
