  8. hiya josh yea we did meet at the show, i do tree surgery and all the estimates i do that entail felling i encourage the client to have them planked for benches, rather than have it logged up, i recently felled 58 leylandii and i spoke to rob about them, the client has alot of land and wanted raised beds around the garden for the roses and veggie plotts, all i did was take the top and bottom of and hey presto you have a sleeper that has that rustic look, it doesnt have to be perfect, if ya happy millin for a reasonable day rate and fuel expenses, then dont complain cos it'l fill ya quiet days also lots of elderly people prefer raised beds so they dont need to bend over so far, if a client has a mum or dad thats gettin on a bit, encourage the raised beds and just cut them to the length they want your providing another service for the client that they get something out of the tree waste. wot is ya thoughts on the raised bed idea?

  18. ive got a jonsered 2165 turbo import with an 18" bar, i use it for coppicing and milling, never had a problem with it in 5 years until yesterday was doing some milling for a customer and it started to rattle a bit, then from nowhere it started to make a sound that can only be described as an rs cosworth exhaust or hot rod motor, the plate behind the exhaust had rattled free its a shame it has to be fixed it sounded well cool with all that grunt, luckily it was at the end of the day
