  2. use a belt sander, its easier and quicker:thumbup:
  3. the first one is 1" thick cherry, i draw round a postcard to get the rite size holes then jigsawed them out
  4. to be onest ive only started about 3 months ago myself but av picked it up pretty quick, i did a bench and pt the coats on straight away but it was 5" thick, i would of thort after u dry them ou, mine was goin outside av u come up with any other ideas? will post some of my bits ive done recently

  6. i get mine from wilkinsons,7.99 for a big tin, pretty cheap, if they are gona be tables for indoors then u only need one coat

  11. hey tommer, i bort an ash woodland this year to sell as firewood and there are some rite beasty lumps there, was thinking of milling them up for table tops but how thick would you take them as mine are gona be heavy and very long
  12. hey rob, i was approached by a pirmary school to make some benchs up, as a giant triangle, square, hexagon and circle as a feature to go in the playground, not sure wot to charge as this will be my first proper sale any thoughts

  16. the second one looks more safer lol, i wasnt that sure wot i was gona buy but i may take it back and av a better look, but the first one u dont need to sharpen, thats why its more expensive, id imgine do you do much carving, im just gettin in to it

  19. Have u used one before then and i take it u need a good firm grip to use this then lol ?
  20. Saw a guy on ytube using one of these for carving out bowls it attaches to a 4" angle grinder with depth gauge on it aswell , you sharpen the teeth like u wood ya saw. Anyone used this before
