  1. hi tommer, the girls are 14 and 19 and ive only been with mrs plippy for 5years now, i dont have any children of mine own, so parenting is new to me really, ive only raised the girls since they wer 14 and 9, it was alot for me to take on board having not raised any children before
  2. i used to fly of on one with the eldest when she was younger but i agree with you andy, the dissapointed one works a treat the eldest is now more responsible with txtin and ringing now which is great, her boyfriend drops her of at nite and doesnt leave til she waves at him from the window:thumbup1: it is alot harder with girls and the fact that their not mine but they usually do as their told and do what is asked of them, both of them are usually very responsible so i should feel lucky that they arnt pregnant or abusing drugs, i think ( hope ) this is an isolated event, even though their not my proper daughters its scares the hell out of me when they dont txt or ring and i panic more than mrs plippy, their real dad is only around on birthdays and xmas and the girls have notcied this and are aware that its me that does things for them and its mrs plippy and i tha go without so they can have what they need, within reason:001_smile:
  3. hey geoff, the misses done some ringing round last nite so the parents know now, as for checking where they are, she only hangs round the same group of girls so we know where she is, we have all the numbers for where she sleeps over so theres no need to ring, just this time she abused the trust we had with her. she wont be sleeping over anywhere for a very long time
  4. thanks for all ya suggestions, she came told me today that she was sorry for what she done and that she loves us dearly. normally id kick off and go barmy but this time i said nothing and i think thats wot scared her, it has to be said that she doesnt do this sort thing at all normally and that it was an isolated event, when she oppologised she said she was sorry for scaring us and that she felt selfish for what she'd done, apparently the girls that was with her have all said they felt like crap the next day and asked izzy to say they wer sorry for that nite. fairplay, not many teenagers could be bothered to even oppologise so i accept that. mrs plippy and i did sit izzy down and explain wot happens to drunk girls of 14 at 3am in the morning and she took it on board
  5. dont worry im not that mean, grounded for a week and no toys to play with:biggrin:
  6. i agree rob, the thing is im her wicked stepdad mwah ha ha, we av a pretty good relationship so im lucky not to get the attitude and the whole your not my dad and cant tel me wot to do routine, so im quite lucky there, the funny bit was that her real dad was picking her and her sister up for their annual shopping visit and she had to go, hungover or not  i always have the last laugh in my house:thumbup1:
  7. scarily the girls wer lucky cos wen i came down the stairs at 3am i was carrying the baseball bat, cos i heard the door go and a noise from downstairs, very lucky escape cos ive got quite a good swing on me and i generally swing then ask questions, more annoying is that i av a staffy who was flat out a sleep in the kitchen, i think someone needs guard dog lessons
  8. problem is at that age they give each other so much stick about anything and everything, i dont want my izzy to be the grass as such, but yes i do agree with you geoff, the parents should of been told but theres was no harm, thank god, but we did make the girls aware that if it was to happen again no matter how minor it may seem we'd be letting thier parents know
  9. so i come home from the APF to find that my wife is going out for the evening with her mates, the eldest is going for a meal with her boyfriend and the youngest ( Izzy ) is gona pitch a tent in her mates garden and sleepover. i wake up at 3am to find a strange noise coming from downstairs, i go down to find izzy in the toilet and her friend sat in the kitchen looking a bit well p1ssed, both are 14. turns out they had all told each others parents that they wer camping at each others place, wot really happened was that they had gone to a party and all been drinking, then i hear someone knocking on the front door, i open the door to find a couple of 14year old boys saying is izzy coming out, bearing in mind its 3am i asked them to fook off or i il kick ya head in, my main worry was that they wer obviously drunk as well and told them if they had anything else in mind that id be hunting them down and taking thier heads of with the biggest saw i could find. then in the morning at 8am theres a knock and its the other girl friends of izzy's with her stuff, turns out the other girls had been walking round town so they didnt av to sleep at the party, so told them to come in and the misses took them home. we told the girls we wouldnt say anything to their parents as we didnt want any back lash on izzy and hoped they had learnt their lessons, as you can imagine izzy is grounded until she's old enough to vote and taken away all the relevant toys, i.e. laptop and nintendo wii. i know i definetly done stuff like this when i was her age and got the slipper for it, if i got caught but do you have any stories of when you wer younger and did you get caught??
