  4. These were in a cavity of a Lime at approx 5ft from the ground. I'm assuming that they are Pholiota Squarrosa. They have been recorded at height but a first for me if they are.?

  10. Thought i recognised this tree. It was down for a reduction on Bristol Council's tree works orders when I was working for the council Contractor. What is your relationship with this tree Jerry? (Just out of interest)

  14. Well from what i can see...that tree hasnt been done from the ground so by climbing it without permission is trespassing and illegal. Not only that they have cut way past the boundary from the look of it too. Poor business ethics.
  15. I've personally done plenty of tree work in Kensington over the years, including Kensington Road where this incident occurred. We would have men on the ground, signs out and the whole work site cordoned off. Still people would continuously step over and into the site even when we were pollarding Plane trees and stuff was raining to the ground. We had a teacher crocodile walking a load of kids attempting to hold the tape up so kids could walk under. When confronted she said 'it was too dangerous to cross the road' We can not legislate for idiots although I do not know the exact details of this sad incident.

  18. Pholiota Squarrosa (Parasitic white rotter) Can lead to brittle fracture. Here found on the buttress roots of Veteran Ash
