  2. No offence meant though mate:001_tt1:
  3. And now droplets of morning dew glisten as they slowly meander across your bald head. Starbursts of light from dawn sunshine radiate from your baldness, blinding bird mothers as they search for the early bird.
  4. Hi Steve.....how's the revision? Nearly there now mate.

The myerscough site has been down for days. There was a link for exam times etc but access denied and now cannot access site at all!!! What bloody timing...wanted to do some of the revision tasks that are on there. Do you know timings etc?

    Hope all's going well

  5. Found this in The Town and Country Planning Act Section 375 © A tree which has a TPO placed upon it or is within a conservation area is exempt from regulations and may be legally felled if a) Touches your pint b) Looks at you funny c) Shows you up in front of your mates d) Makes advances to your lady (or man)
  6. :laola::laola: nice one
  7. I've worked with a woman......she was only petite....great for reductions on fruit trees and the like.....she had plenty of bottle and i've grounded for her while she's dismantled v.large trees wielding a 6 6 about. She put a few of our young climbers to shame at times....even when it came to carting logs around. She WAS always on the bloody phone though!
  8. I'm interested to no how many of you have gone to price up a felling job only to turn it down because you may have it would be morally wrong to fell it on the grounds it was a beautiful tree with nothing wrong with it.
  9. It is in Windsor Great Park on the edge of a small wood. Compaction wouldn't be an issue however there is a stream about 3mtrs away so possible waterlogging?....or even deer damage many years ago
  10. or a chameleonic device to avoid being kicked off?
  11. Have you noticed how the surface on your one david is the couloration of the host beech as is my one on the hornbeam!
  12. No its not in an enclosure David. This tree is riddled with the stuff. It is on a footpath and horse track. It is now down for a 15% crown reduction on the new safety list (bloody safety lists...its a wild park.....put a huge disclaimer up at the entrance gates!)
  13. Richmond park.....fantastic isnt it? Love the way the upper surface of the fruiting body and the trunk of tree are starting to look the same
  14. If you want to send me your email address I can send you an piece of literature regarding the management and implementation of management programmes for lapsed pollards.

    Hi Giles.....

I've been trying to access the Myerscough site for the last couplke of days to no avail. What a time for it to go down. There was an announcement regarding details of exam times etc but i couldn't access any further. Have you encountered the same? If not do you know the times etc?

How's things? My brain feels frazzled but i'm feeling more confident by the day although I will suddenly get a sudden rush of negativity which I quickly try to dispel. Hope you getting through it all.

  16. It's just one of those fascinating quirks of nature i guess. The 'epistomous condition' whereby the stomata is on the upper surface is found predominantly on floating aquatic plants (for obvious reasons). Why a common lime? Right i'm off now!
  17. bit of a Mod were you/are you david? Now, lets look at the evidence on your desk....scooter, target....who lives in a house like this?
  18. Guy at my work has just returned from that job in jersey. Reckons there's no more until July I think. I will talk to him about it/what it was like/ other details etc and post tomorrow.
  19. surely votes for option 1 should be forfeited for lying?
