  1. The imori is perfect with me i use a prussik on it daily and love it Nice rope
  2. There at most shows really go on poleclimb.com if i remember right. Its a good crack nice bunch of lads. More drinking than climbing though prize money is very good also!
  3. Dont you need to be able to pole rescue aswell as usual tree rescue?
  4. It all depends what your felling in my experience, On species but mostly if your felling a stick or a whole tree. For a stick i would go for 40/50% but a whole tree no more than 25/30% really.
  5. i love that picture one of the most amazing tree pics ive seen! the orange massive dart straight trunks with another one in the distance against the pure white snow simply amazing photo
  6. big bits craning off there, no helmet cam? what size crane did you have looks like a fair few tons worth of lifts there!
  7. Did todays job on friday so today i spent 3 hours down there cleared the main pit totally now just need to fell the odd lot on the steep banks around the edge and 2 more pathways leading off it and that pit is done only 3 or 4 more to go.
  8. On the one i had there was a little black switch to turn the no stress on and off. The anvil is a chore to do not very easy access to the bolts theres 2 bolts under the feed funnel then the 2 threaded bolts that actually move it back and forth.
  9. Belts you can get some most garages etc if you no the 1 you need or have the old 1, fuel cap i would think get anywhere off ebay doesnt have to be original one.
  10. Looks like it could be a bear eating a fish in one of the pics to me
  11. Nice one great vid great tunes and 130 trees in 10 days i take my hat off to you sir
  12. Nice vid enjoyed it, looks a stunning place to work
  13. Nice job One thing i found out in the couple of fells ive done with a bottle jack the jack goes into the wood it needs a bigger wider plate welded on the top to spread the force of the jack to stop it punching through the wood
  14. Couldnt agree more im day in day out using spikes for take downs all the while that day i just felt like getting back to good old swinging about climbing
  15. Didnt look a fraction of the size till you see the stem lieing on the ground with you standing next to it! Massive good job
  16. Nope i bought it off ebay there was a big thing on here about people shouldnt buy them etc but really it does the same job but half the price not a difficult business choice in tight times really... They dont make them like that anymore though they make a 4 wheel one which is rubbish.
  17. Rock machinary ltd they were at the APF good solid bit of kit that. 250quid is a bargain delivered. It will lift 1000lbs boom in and with the extra boom out 500lbs so half a ton to 250kgs really but as with everything it will have a safety factor and will lift a tad more but for what it is its handy for me i can just lift it on and off as and when i need it 8 bolts hold it down.
  18. little job i did on my own today for a easy friday got to give my trolley and little swing lift a work out i know exactly why i bought them now!
  19. As mark said sounds a cheap price i bought new 1 this year £11,500 or around that figure they go up and up and up at the moment.
  20. Cheers adam i no i 1 hand to much with the 200t i try to tell my self use 2 hands but its gunna take time to remove the habit i think Cheers i do love a good dismantle ive treated my self to too many gadgets! No matter what i try srt rope wrench spiderjack hitchclimber lockjack always go back to good old prussik and love it simple and cheap very adjustable and bomb proof
  21. Just didnt think it was needed on that tree plus ive got them carbon fibre 1s and the bottom strap is forever sliding down under the boot which is a right ballache, plus i need to save my legs for the big 110ft wellingtonia dismantle coming next month
  22. Awesome work gibbon bet ull be sick of spiking up larch by the end! How tall are they out of interest? Loving that boxer!!
  23. Hi there its best bit of kit i own! I bought it from honeybros Good Rigging Control System They have pics and a vid of it on there.
  24. todays little job dismantle this pine, took me from start till breakfast to strip the whole tree of ivy, then from breakfast till lunch to get it all done and dusted. nice easy day with early finish! no clearing up they wanted it cheap as they could get it apparently so they are getting rid of it all them selfs rather them than me now! the stubs are because i fancyed climbing without spikes today before someone mentions the stubs [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4-CGG0GT734]simple pine dismantle - YouTube[/ame]
  25. Chipping timber is defo a big chipper job but my point is the price difference from the 125 to the 150 isnt shown in performance really. Only downfall is its petrol that is only thing i can fault it with aswell but lightness push it about small get in places does the domestic tree work no worries.
