    Aye ticking the box does the job lol...Finished uni but dunno if i've passed or not yet!! Been busy working, some my own work and some subbing out, kept busy tho. Hope all good with yourself and if you ever up this way, give me a shout & we'll have a catch up ;) ...meet u at the SSF carpark lol.

  2. pumice stone, although left a bit red afterwards will try the butter, milk, sugar and bananna peel methods next time...wife will think i'm baking a cake!
  3. ...readily available Magnesium and Sulphur. lack of nutrients in the soil is causing yellowing of the leaves. Not only does Epsom Salt provide good nutrition, but it also improves plants utilisation of N(nitrogen) P (phosphorous) and K (potassium). easily leeched tho.

  5. Sprinkling some epsom salt on the soil ocasionally or dilute a couple of tablespoonfulls into a gallon of water and apply... i'm led to believe.

    Days off....

    Temp work for me atm, as im going back to collage & dont start back till end of August weather n lack of work for me... Will study for a bit, play my guitar,eat, see what needs doing,.. then repeat

  9. Was speaking to the owner of a hotel next to me and he is paying £95 per tonne and the last load he got was a mix of birch & pine!! Says if i can get it he'd gladly pay me £80 per tonne, but i just dont have the facilities... yet !

  14. Would this be Ganoderma brackets ?? Found them on an A.psudoplatanus today... It's also decaying pretty badly underneath.. Noticed it today whilst doing some other work & was slightly concearned as is near a house & overlooks a driveway.

  16. Hi all, Been asked by a friend why they dont get any fruit from thier cherry-tree no more. The fruit only grows to the size of a pinky nail then falls off!! They dont know the species so dont know if it's the paddis or the Gean... i'm not able to get up there and have a look or get some pics. Told it's an old tree but still in good shape.... was kinda thinking maybe it's an age thing but would certainly ask around so any help or advice on this would be much appriciated. *Been like this for a couple of years i'm told... with no signs of any disease ect but this coming from an untrained eye.
  17. I start hnd arb after summer & theres no mention of fitness what so ever... Think if you want to do this course/job you got to realise you need to be of reasonable fitness, especially whilst using a chainsaw when your up there.
  18. did you use a carving saw or a standard saw?? good job like it gonna be trying my hand at this also sometime...
