it also means that a blue book is five years or more old HSE wants training every five years that means if someone still has blue book and no cards they dont meet HSE standard

did you not read this bit Can I still use my blue book? No, the use of blue books for Chainsaw registration and certification ended on 1st October 2005. If you still have a blue book and did not send it in bofore this date then you will have to re-take the assessments

but is that because of the training you had just done the way i heard it you would just need to do a "refresher" course to bring it up to date. the recomended thing seems to be refreshers for all tickets every five years.

i think you'll find that blue book has gone out of date and now dosn't satisfy HSE requirements and you will need to update to npct cs units.

  15. plunge cuts under and above a couple of the limbs cut upwards hopefuly creating bat habitat the tree was and stil is the only one on the site the tree officer and architect liked the idea when i suggested it to them rather than removing it, there was going to be another which would have been an exellent one to have done but it turned out to be to unsafe to leave as it was a chestnut and had been badly rotted by fungus. the monolith/tree will have to be monitored as it is in a public park cheers
