  1. It would appear that my faithfull little money maker is wandering towards the big white light. It has had a busy life with a few knocks now and again(as they usually do). It has had a new handle fitted due to a miss timed chog down. Since that day It has never been the same. Running issues pretty much ever since . I have had into three local garden machinery type shops, who charge me £40 ish and tell me its ok and just needed a clean and a tweek. Usually works fine for a good twenty mins then back to its old tricks. starts but wont run, when it does run and then cuts out it has to be choked before starting again. gotta keep pumping the throttle or else the revs just die and cuts out. If a new carb is needed why has these 'machinery boffins' not worked it out and how m uch am I looking at for a new carb. Was thinking of using it for spares and breaking the bank for a new un! any thought?
  2. does it matter if the shorts are lycra?
  3. I have three 16ft hawthorn tree's to reduce(as well as strip the ivy!! booo) and they are extremely compact and the branches are no thicker than one s finger. Would it be bad practise to hit these with the hedge trimmer ? or should i prune each branch with the pole pruners?
  4. Staying positive and being able to motivate your team when both you and them know that the job that your boss has sent you on is clearly undermanned and the final touches needed to finish the job and achieve the customers expectation is that part of the day where you are grafting past home time knowing that you wont have any extra in your wage packet because "we dont pay overtime!"
  5. Thats it!! It has to be done! The back of the landy has to be boarded out, coz there is no order at the moment and the carpet has been trashed now as the fuel can fell over on the way home the other day and kindly leaked oil everywhere:sneaky2: Anybody boarded theirs out before with success ? Its the station wagon style Landy and i have got the side seats out But left the frame in to hopefully attach the board to. Was thinking of doing a split level thing ie saws on the bottom ,Climbing stuff on the top and some kinda tray to sit the fuel and oil on .I want it to be the ultimate storage system to house all the kit!! ( oh and kids stuff at weekends when it returns to its part time job as the family vehicle) Anyone got any good ideas/ pics?

    cs100

I have a cs100 18hp and its the best purchase i have made to date. Im having a bit of bother with it lately in that it doesnt take the brash from me when I place it in the chute. I have changed the blades and set the gap between the anvil to 0.5 mm as requested but to my disappointment the b rash has to be forced down on to the blades causing loads of vibration through the arms. If i make the gap between the blades and anvil slightly bigger will this solve the problem? i have a friend with the same machine and the brash gets pulled out of your hands when placed in the chute!!
  10. Never tried the jo beau, but have the 18hp cs100 and it rocks !! Its so good my mate who helps me out also bought one.
  11. they look awesome dude!! i bet they look even better with the black rims wonder how they wear?
  12. You look in your wardrobe and there is loads of work t shirts with small holes on the front of them:001_rolleyes:, thick socks with woodchip both inside and out :thumbdown:several pairs of chainsaw trousers with a ripped crotch pleading just go to work for one last time :001_huh:and ONE pair of posh jeans and ONE Posh shirt for sunday use only:lol:
  13. need some new tyres for my 110 landy. It pulls a 3.5 tonne ifor williams trailer loaded with woodchip and logs 5 days a week, has to tip in an extremely wet and muddy tip site and yet double up as the family vehicle on the weekends!! Would really like to purchase some extremely bad boy mud terrains like the leccy board use (cooper discoverer stt) for vain purposes:blushing: but being sensible and taking road noise and fuel cost and all that jazz into consideration I will probably buy bfg a/t due to their good reviews but.... I have recently seen the Cooper Discoverer at/3 which although do not look that meaty, they seem to rate highly all round regarding grip in all conditions noise etc.(although it does come from the cooper website) Anyone got any?
  14. Or get you mates to pull their fingers out of their arses and pull their weight!!!
  15. I second the idea of the sanitary towels. Although make sure you keep your own stash:001_huh:, as I have been on the sharp after being the reason for running out of them at such crucial time in the month.' Always ultra super mega heavy as f@£$ flow' are the ones I buy .
  16. Has this cup of tea been anywhere near a t bag ?
  17. Its seen a fair bit of action over the past eighteen months , out 5 days a week definately not for the bin yet. i will give the L screw and idle screw a tweak and see if it improves . thanks for the advice.
  18. :thumbup1:Quality bit of video. Enjoyed watching it !
  19. Had my 200t for about 18months from new. Lately its being playing up and being silly. When i pump the trigger, the revs drop ever so slightly and there is a slight delay before they pick up again , almost like when you are about to run out of fuel. Anybody had the same troubles before?
  20. Hello mate, just spotted your profile picture and was wondering is there any chance of a close up of the rear of your trailer. I have a greenmech cs100 chipper and the same trailer. I would love to be able to mount the chipper on the back like your motorised barrow.

    many thanks

  21. just white finger? you should see the colour of my legs , they never see daylight! cheers pete it was worth a try!!
  22. Recently splashed out and bought my first chipper. Ex demo greenmech cs100 18 hp. I have been working with trees and chippers for over ten years now and have used many chippers from tractor driven pto jensens, schleisings , timberwolfs... Being a small buisness , puts these chippers out of my purchasing league, also i have a landy and tipping trailer set up. Demo 'd the greenmech and decided this was for me . Wheel it up and down the ramps of my trailer , can wheel it and chip the brash to wherever the customer requires it . no more milling brash up in the trailer!! To anyone who has only used hydraulic fed with stress control 6" and upwards this little machine at first glance would appear a bit of a no go, as i first thought , but with an open mind this little beauty could change your life as it has mine!! Took down this macracarpa today and chipped it no probs. Thanks greenmech( ps please post my free spare blades to the usual address) Video-0017.mp4
  23. Im guessing at this price it comes in a hardback in colour and all pictures are in HD. Surely if we are expected to work to this standard this information should be made more affordable if not free!!
  24. Desperate for some new spikes . Tried the twisted steel with velcro straps got on well with them. Anyone know who sells these at the most affordable price?
