  1. :lol:problem sorted! turns out that the 530 t (not 540t as previously said) had been fitted with the wrong hydrolic pump which made the revs run slighty lower. silly billys

  4. must be a friday afternoon built machine. His 530 is awesome, properly rips stuff through!! thats why he is a bit dissapointed
  5. could be!! there has been plenty of thinks fallen off it!! nuts and bolts and the like lol!
  6. i think he has tried that and not much difference. i think it something to do with the hydrolic feed from the tracks.
  7. Anyone else having problems with the speed of the rollers on the 540t? Working for a guy who has just bought a brand new machine and isnt happy with the roller speed. The company that sold him the machine have told him that it is set at the optimum chipping speed . After using the machine i find that if i had spent over 20k i would expect the rollers to run a tad faster. Any tips on adjustment?
  8. Had a pair of the meindl airstreams , for about 14 months the most comfortable footwear ever worn , even wore them when not working. Awesome for climbing and very waterproof when i save up i will buy another pair. My emergency second pair of hiax are dropping to bits and taking on water!!!
  9. Just passed the certified arborist exam and hungry for more!! what is the highest qualification in arboriculture I can achieve by home study. Coz working full time will not allow me the chance to go to college.
  10. gonna try the bulkhead seal thing and if that doesnt work im going on ebay for a cagool to fit a 110 lol

Im probably opening myself up to a whole lot of stick for having a landy:biggrin: but does anyone else with one , have problems with it p***ing in water when it rains? all over the drivers foot wel!! Massively annoying especially when its hammering it down coz my accelerator foot gets soaked. sealed the air vents , around the windscreen and around the drivers door but it still gets in:confused1:

  14. yo bro! howzit? hows work going? just bought a new line, 37m yale imori. Really nice to climb on and still feels chunky enough to grip yet 11.7 mm. New harness is on the card next. Looks like its going to be one of the old black stealthfull type jobs that all the good climbers wear , hope full it might make me a better climber!! when you coming down ? to these parts? and hows the wee man?

  15. hello q, hows tricks? anything to report? hows that family of your doing? Bude is working out quite nicely, work is still coming in. Been here a year on halloween. Still doing work out in germany with andy? just bought the new imori 37m rope working well just need a new harness now .Can you recommend one? where did you buy your side bag for your side strop mine has finally bitten the dust.

  16. So its been well over four years on my austria pro II and a good two years on my new england. Both need seriously changing!! spike marks, burns, loose stitching!! Like the look of the imori rope and the komiri harness , friction chord not quite sure. Any suggestions? many thanks grant:001_smile:
  17. well, im using a petzl at the moment which i have no problems with only the fact that its done a few 100,000 miles and needs retiring. From everybody's kind advice i think i will stick to what i know.( The Steins do look cool though!!)
  18. Im after a new climbing helmet, i quite like the look of those stein ones but not sure about the top gun style visor!! Any one got one with a mesh visor and a decent ear defender combo?
  19. hello all, Im in need of a new pair of stretch air gladiators. Anyone any idea where I can get the best deal? Also can anyone recommend any harder wearing trousers for climbing?

  23. Nice one mate. Kinda the same for me really , Wanted a better lifestyle and somewhere nice for the kids to be brought up. Sold up and gone for broke! fingers crossed the telephone rings!! Ha ha.
