  1. Hi Shillo, I don't believe you can dismiss the Timberwolf 190TFR. Especially if you are looking for durability, and long term residual value. Neither the Forst or the Quadtrak has yet proved there long term investment value. OK maybe I'm not entirely impartial, however there are a lot of happy Timberwolf users out there. Regards, Lee James - BDM Orange Plant
  2. Hi mark, Good to see her in action! Best of luck with growing the grinding part of your business, and remember we're on the end of the phone if you need us :-) Lee - Orange Plant Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App

  4. Hi Ed, You raise a good point. I was also wondering if Jensen (manufacturer) know that their potential customers are being 'shunted' onto the Forst as a cheaper alternative. It's like booking a test drive of a VW Golf and been down down sold to a SEAT Leon (because its the same but cheaper?!?) Has the Jensen brand not always been about quality German engineering at whatever the cost. It surely will make the Jensen owners feel a bit bewildered as to what they bought into in the first place! 5. Hi all, I've heard about the new 'Forst' chipper that's been launched by redwood, but don't have many details. Are redwoods now selling this instead of the Jensen? Is there only a 6" tracked, or is there a variety of options? Has anyone bought one of these yet? Feedback would be great! Thanks Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  6. Hi Simon, a diamond disk and can angle grinder is what you need. We stock the disks. Call Tony in Parts on 01912361029, and he'll sort you out Regards, Lee James - Orange Plant
  7. If you want to try a Timberwolf give me a shout. We have a depot in Bromborough, Wirral. A good range of new and used machines to suit any budget. Lee James - [email protected]
  8. Hi Mark, We have a good selection of new and used Carlton's. If you're on a budget we've got some quality used 4012's (manual or remote). If you can stretch a little we have the Carlton SP5014TRX (remote) which is compact, powerful, and extremely well put together. Not quite as narrow as the p26, but if performance is more important than narrowness it's a no brainer. Call and ask for Lee if you want to discuss the options, and arrange demos etc. Regards, Lee Orange Plant [email protected]
  9. Hi Shane, Have you considered the Carlton range? There is the Carlton SP2010, which is fitted with the razor cut head and 30hp Kohler engine. This combination packs a punch, and still meets size restrictions you have (29" wide etc). We also have a nice offer on, which may interest you.... Alternatively we have a 4 wheeled Carlton SP4012 which is under the £10k mark, and will make stump grinding an all round more enjoyable experience :-D We have a a depot in Burgess Hill, BN7, which I'm guessing is on your doorstep, and would be more than happy to arrange a demo. If you are interested please call me on 07837087940, or email me [email protected] . Regards, Lee James BDM Orange Plant
  10. FYI the Carlton SP2010 is now fitted with a 30hp engine Good advice there Jamie
  11. Hi Simon, Good to hear your feedback. Thanks for your business, and please call us any time for tech advice and support. Regards, Lee James BDM Orange Plant
  12. Tried and tested? A design that has not changed much in the last 15 years, and has stood the test of time? There is no such thing as a perfect machine, but as an all-round package the TW150DHB has proved itself over and over again
  13. Something not right there We hire a few of these machines, and we sharpen blades every 18-20hours, and get 8-10 sharpens. I would say average usage would be 150hrs, and that's on our hire fleet. A lot more than the 24hrs quoted.... Maybe a shredder would be more appropriate for example TW SX200PHB | Products | Timberwolf
  14. Pro - amazing resale value. The Timberwolf 150 holds its value way better than any of its competitor. This is a testament to its reliability, performance, and cost effictiveness.... A true investment. Call orange plant if you have any questions 😉
  15. Also remember our depot in the South East near Burgess Hill (BN7 3DF)! Again any requirements for hire, sales, or servicing; bear us in mind. Regards, Lee James - BDM Orange Plant
  16. Hi All, Just posting to let you know our Bromborough Depot is open! For any wood chipper or stump grinder requirements in the North West please bear us in mind. Regards, Lee James - BDM Orange Plant
  17. Hi All, We looking to move on all the PPE and Arb Wear we accumalated when we sold this kit a few years ago. We've listed all the items on eBay, many of which are below cost price. The seller is orangeplantparts , please see : - orangeplantparts | eBay Happy shopping! Orange Plant
  18. Hi, Prices will vary depending on the options. The main options available are the engine (27hp Petrol, 35hp Petrol, 33hp Deisel, 44hp Diesel), and control method (manual levers, wired, wireless). Dozer blade is fitted as standard. I imagine the most popular models will be the 33hp Kubota, with full wireless remote control. I expect this version to out perform the other small tracked stump grinders that are available at this time. It will fill the gap between the small tracked grinders (P28, RG1625TRX), and the large grinders (SP7015, 60TX). I can also see the 44hp Kubota version giving the P50 a good run for its money, but time will tell... So as for the price....please PM or email me ([email protected]) me what you are looking for and I will gladly quote ;-)
  19. *Please note the model will be called the SP5014TRX, not SP4012 as stated in the video. The name 5014 comes from the 50" swing 14" cutter depth
  20. Hi All, Orange Plant are glad to announce that Carlton have a new stump grinder available, which will be hitting the UK very soon. The new Carlton SP5014TRX promises to be an excellent addition to the range. Please see the video: - [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j7OxKPkTSWo&list=UUxP8O8KgL-I-wAwwn8G9cSg&index=1&feature=plcp]SP5014TRX Stump Cutter Trailer - YouTube[/ame] We will have the 33hp Kubota version on show at the Arb Fair in Cirencester, and the 44hp Kubota version at the APF. If you have questions please email or PM me. 21. Hi, we hire Carlton stump grinders nationally. The range is from small 13hp up to the Carlton 7015trx, 60hp with sandvik. We have about 20 stump grinders, so give us a shout if anything comes up. Lee James Business Development Manager Orange Plant Tel: 0191 2361028 Mob: 07837087940 Email: [email protected]

  23. Hi Tim, Depends on how important stump grinding is to your business. If it is the core of your business then I would suggest the Carlton SP4012 (Petrol or Deisel). This would ensure maximum productivity with minimal physical effort. However, if you are only looking to do the odd stump I would suggest something smaller. Something 13hp, like the Carlton 900H, would be fine. We (Orange Plant) are the importers for the Carlton range of stump grinders. Feel free to call or email me anytime.
