  2. Just looked at it again, i read your post wrong, yes 47 a cube, not a ton, 2m3 about a ton so 90 a ton, so not the bargain i 1st thought was thinking 47 a ton cut and split haha.
  3. Looks like they are packed in well, if selling as loose loads you would be getting more than 3 m3 id say.
  4. yes great result, the people on arbtalk are alot more clued up than the idiots trying to sell knicked stuff on ebay for every one to see, and to lead the police straight to them, well done woodpecker.
  5. I was looking on the hmrc website, as far as i could make out timber you buy will be 15% VAT and selling to public for domestic use is 5%, but if you sell it to someone who is going to resale it, ie to a garage bagged, the vat is then 15%, i am going to phone hmrc to double check this though.
  6. I agree that as a fairly new member, the threads are very interesting, and also help on the learning curve
  7. Thanks for the number Carver, will try them tommorrow, will be able to buy 200 at half the price i thought i would have to pay!!
  8. How long do you think these bags would last before falling apart if left outside full of logs all year, or would they not last that long even?
  9. I got a price for the 1M vented bags from Bagsupplies.com, they worked out £7.50 incl Vat and carrage, where can you get them for £3.50?? thats so much cheaper.
  10. I have been looking at buying bags in bulk, does any body no how they are measured i am guessing corner to corner when flat, was looking on http://www.bagsupplies.com/netbags.htm There seems to be about 15 different sizes of net bags.
